It is great that SS showed a lot of things fan have been asking for such as new body and armored figures and more LOTR figs, but I am disappointed not seeing more Marvel stuff, but over all good. I mean, the sculpt on Obi and Indy looks very promising and I hope that the post-production figs would come out close to the proto.

It was alright, there were really only two items that got the most attention, that being the Indy figure and the Clone Armor Obi. If it was to be a great toy fair, then I believe there would have to been more exciting products shown.

I don't collect the 12" figs, but I would imagine if I did it would be a banner year.

Legolas LSB came out better than I had hoped, the Eaglerama is amazing; and I have a tentative order in for the JP dio.

So CF, did you attend the show in person? If that was the case I could understand being a bit bored by it. But since I'm just chilling at home and seeing all the Sideshow goodness I've really enjoyed it.

It's been a bad toy fair for me. They keep showing awesome stuff which makes me have to decide what I can afford to buy or not buy. If they were nice they'd just put out a couple of awesome items a year and then make a bunch of thing I don't care about. :D

Actually I'm really excited about Gandalf and Indy and I wasn't excepting the Armor Ben they all look great and so does the dino for people who want to get the dioramas. Can't wait to see a joe though.

It's ironic that by not attending, they ended up with possibly the best lineup to date. Not just the figures/characters themselves, but the advancements in quality, body and costuming that they represent.

This was not much of an event for 1:4 scale fans like myself, but there are some exciting things happening in 12" scale and I will end up with more preorders this week than I had anticipated.

I had to vote indifferent.

We only got one 'new' 12" figure announcement - Obi-Wan. We knew Gandalf was coming for almost 6 months now, same with Indy. Both 'new' licenses were previously announced beforehand, plus we aren't getting any figures from the GI Joe license at Toyfair. The two new bodies were a nice announcement, but expected nonethelesss. Plus, the price increase doesn't sit well for me either. While I'm thrilled with these three new figures, only one was a shocker for me, which is what I expect at a major event like Toy Fair.

Toy Fair used to WOW me, but this year seems a bit lackluster from everyone this year.

I also hate how we expected 6 new figures, but only got 4 because of the 'exclusive' versions taking up a box.

BEST TOY FAIR EVER!!!

And as Collector Freak noted, from a company that wasn't even present! Sideshow RULED this week--Indy, Obi-Wan, and GANDALF!!!

I'm so happy!
