Traded in the gas guzzler!

Well due to gas prices and the fact that I had a Ford Explorer I had to do something. So I traded that ^^^^^ in and bought a new car. I bought a 2009 Honda Civic SI.

Now before the gear heads come in hear and say stupid ^^^^ let me make one thing clear. This car is not a damn race car and I didn't want one. If I wanted one I would have bought one.

So now that, that is out of the way. I will say I love it! It is pretty quick, I like the style, and gas is way cheaper! It was brand new! I never had a new car before so I love it! My favorite car ever was a 93 Honda Civic EX coupe that I bought when I was 18. I should have never went back to American. I love Hondas! They run forever! Since I bought my 2004 explorer it had already broken down on me twice. Anyways thought I would finally share. Im bored and have nothing better to do anyways. LOL!

Good choice man. Over the course of a year thats a Sideshow piece or three you will save in gas. My F-150 got about 14-17 prob the same as your Exploder. 60-80 dollar tanks depending on prices, ouch. You are probably doubilng that mileage now.

I think all cars now are ^^^^ty once you get a year or two on them. My best cars were both Pontiacs. I've had a PT Cruiser for 6 years and I've never had any trouble with it till now and NO ONE can find what's wrong with it! I've spent $600 in three places and it's still isn't right.

Anyway, enjoy the gas mileage! I don't understand why anyone who really doesn't need an SUV would want one anymore.

Thanks man! I am glad to get back in a Honda. I wasn't going to go for the SI. I just wanted an EX. It so happened that they didn't have any manuals so I asked to take out the SI. I started smiling the minute I did. Needless to say I went with the SI. I test drove the red. I like black because I am usually miserable. So I went with that. Plus my old civic was black. So I went with that.

Yup! I need tint and to do it on the hood. I also want the HFP body kit. But I am not ready to get that far into it. I fear once I do I will want to do more. Then if I do I may find a whole new hobby that I can't afford. But tint is a must.
