Life goes on for all of us. We carry unseen burdens about and cope as best we can.

Having the elephants to look after, does not end by walking away. It is good that her husband can occupy his time, even though he will probably burst into tears from time to time.

Dominiques family must be in turmoil from the suddenness with which this happened. It must be so overwhelming for them all. That it happened so far away makes it more difficult.

My hope is for you to be able to have the space, for the mixture of emotions you are dealing with, to settle down to a point where you can cope better and more easily. Your situation has complicated this moreso. It is unfortunate that your boss is so business oriented that he has rejected his heart, and makes such lame decisions and promises, that seem to only serve to emotionally abuse you, not to mention financially. Keep your chin up, you will get through this.

I do not know if anyone is ever interested in traveling to Thailand. My best friends sister who died there at 27 years old had an elephant park that people can go on vacation and help take care of the elephants and other animals.

I just wanted to give you guys the website just to keep Dominique's dream alive... if you ever make plans to visit Thailand... make sure to keep this in mind.

If you read Dominique's dream you can see some pictures of her.

Comfort should be found in that your friend lived, which is no small feat.

Really sorry to hear this. Life is full of unexpected surprises. We need to live life to its fullest. We never know when our time will come. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and all the friends and family that she had.

i am truly sorry for your loss. I wish I could add more, but I am at a complete loss for words. You are in my thoughts.

Wow, just...wow.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Ness. She sounded like a great person. May she rest in peace.:monkey2

I'm really sorry Nessa, this is terrible. She sounded like a wonderful person, and is really a wonderful example of what we all could, and should do for others on this earth. May she be in peace and may your thoughts think of the good times rather than the bad.

Sorry to hear such unfortunate news but like some others I don't see such deaths as a tradegy! I see it as an example to the rest of the world from God to shift your attention to what is truly important in life!

Such an individual did understand the meaning of life, she IMO pleased God with loving and caring for all His creations! She was an Angel because she was unique, unique compared to the majority materialistic world we all live in everyday.

I say good for her, she died with purpose, with dignity and an excellent example to what most of us COULD do!

May God be pleased with her in the afterlife.

As this is thread is from nearly 2 years ago, I will lock it. We don't need to dredge up bad memories.
