I cant say why exactly, but I absolutely hated that movie. There was SO much potential and it felt empty and half assed. It was a 90 minute hero movie cliche. Whoever is in charge of DC movie making, or at least in the captains seat of Lanturd should be kicked squarely in the nuts for 90 minutes straight.
I think I was more insulted than anything. I think Marvel has shown us that a hero movie can be more than just a polished turd with some fancy CGI. There is enough in 30 years of comics to pull from to make a quality, well told story first, then put some fancy CGI in.
Something like Transformers I don't expect much from cause all it is is a vehicle to sell toys, pulled from an older vehicle to sell toys. Transformers has never been, in my opinion, as source of great story telling or well thought out plot lines.
Comic/hero movies can be that, but Lanturd felt like a craptastic trip back to the 90s, when Hollywood treated comic movies and the fan base with little to no respect.

One thing that TF3 did do pretty nicely was mostly allow for a clean "erasing" of TF2. Other than Sam talking about having saved the world twice and the obvious return of Megatron (though you could assume that the Decepticons dredged him from the depths and pieced him together with those chains he was wearing) it makes for a pretty seamless continuation of TF1.
It would be very easy to assume that Michaela dumped him shortly after the buzz of life threatening events of the first film subsided. Then its just two movies of sweet freeway and downtown battles and none of that silliness about a supermodel begging a nerd to say he loves her.

It's a work of fiction. I Don't see the fuss.
Not as bad as the millions that truly believe the moon landing was a hox anyway.
I'm sure Buzz would be more upset over those "special" people, than a fictional movie.

I thought it was fantastic to see him there. What about it did you find disrespectful? I think it would have been disrespectful *not* to have offered any of the Apollo crew a cameo.

Buzz got props from Optimus Prime himself! I thought the movie made a special effort to show him respect, not the other way around.
