It's unfair to compare films. Inception had complex storytelling but Transformers had robots blowing up cities and eachother. Both are good.

Transformers Producer Confirms That Franchise Will Not Be Rebooted
Transformers Producer Don Murphy has posted the following on his personal site:
What happens next? Certainly not a reboot. We haven't lost the Transformers. They didn't grow up or become expensive like Toby Maguire. I don't know what happens next. I'm pretty sure there will be a second trilogy. I am pretty sure it will kick ass. And I am pretty sure some of you will hate it because it wasn't all bots."

Neither am I. I like the Transformers films they're a fun ride at least for me however I like many films that are considered "great". I don't feel because I like the TF films that my standards are "low". If others do they think much to high of themselves.

I do like & own the first movie, but the 2nd, I netflixed and hated it. I'll do the same for this one

these movies are fantastic... nobody would go see a moie if it was all robots and no humun interaction. maybe the true fans but not the whole box office world. There are a marvel to watch. Now I have my fingers crossed for michael bays TMNT reboot!

Whew! Looks like Platinum Dunes is making it, but I doubt Bay will have too much of a hand in it. Bullet dodged.
Nothing against Bay, he does his thing and he does it well, but he can do it somewhere other than TMNT thankyouverymuch.

Bays a powerful producer and i dont think the Transformers film franchise would be as Epic and grand scale without him apart of him. He has made mistakes but he delivers iconic action everytime. Im proud of the Transformers movies, all have faults, but all great movies IMO
In terms of the Platnum Dunes TMNT film, i do hope Bay is a REAL producer on the movie, at least to give it some kind of money for the production, I have high expectations for that movie.

Just saw the latest steaming turd to come from Mr. Bay...and I want my money back...IMO the Transformer films are rubbish...weak on plot, over-complicated, lousy acting and over-the-top. The only semi-decent one was the first. I'm a fan and grew up watching the cartoon and buying all of the toys...and I love movies...just not Bay's version of Transformers...now before everyone who loves these films gets their panties all in a wad, It's just my opinion and I respect all of you who liked these films...and no doubt they have made box office cash...I'm just sayin

Saw it. Liked it 10x more than the second one, half as much as the first and a bagillion times more than Green Lanturd.
Really, this would have been a much better sequel. I'll just pretend the second one never happened, and it will stand as a two film franchise for me.
