I like to think that from where the protoforms landed, the only things around were those construction vehicles at the construction site, so they didn't really have much to choose from. The ones that didn't choose a form were going after the tanks the US army had, but were getting shot at/up before they were able to fully scan them.

Yeah that sounds like a good explanation!

Now, what I also would like to see in Transformers 3 is that aircraftcarrier-Transformer where there were talks about in developing part 2.

That would seem pretty cool to me, and that thing would be gigantic!!!

Wouldn't be surprised if it WAS meant to be Blackout, but they couldn't finish rendering his resurrection scene and made him a different character instead. As for Bonecrusher...Eh, TFs can survive decapitations.

The Constructicons are a bit of a mess, though. But on the other hand, G1 pulled that stunt off quite a bit as well, and clones/drones being lead by one commander were establish in the tie-in comics. Maybe something similiar is going on here?

if its the final ever tf film then id have to agree that i think unicron should be involved! little things like ravage shooting out of soundwave were little g1 memories so id assume autobots and decepticons against eachother against a unicron hell bent on the destruction of everyone!

imagine a cgi unicron!!!! 1000's of feet tall! taking a whole 10 mins screen time to transform from planet to robot!!!

cue even more bay explosions!

Yup, makes sense to me, I was watching it wondering why they didn't have any parts of their bodies that resembled vehicles.

I think theyre plannin on introducing the dinobots into the next one if they can think of a plausible plot line, along with unicron... might be wrong though

And galvatron was basicaly in ROTF. They just didn't rename megatron so the audience didnt get confused

It's possible they took the form of the same vehicle, but then again it's Bay! I swear I saw Bone Crusher as well! In the desert scene at the end.
