The human characters look a lot better, mostly Wahlberg. Couldn't help but think it was awesome story-wise until the generic authority figure characters showed up to do their usual spiel.

Such a cliche that it's only after they say "we don't need you anymore" that things to to hell and they need them, not in the however many year since.

I don't know. I guess they'll be playing up Grimlock's dimwitted-ness. Even though it's typically just a speech impediment.

But either way even when he panics Optimus is still a total badass.

No doubt he his, forgive my taking the piss I just don't want to get my hopes up. I hope to watch it and be surprised for once I just don't think Bay is capable of providing that.

This looks like the same crap just with new actors.

Robots still look like over complicated crap.

This looks good actually. Call me a sheep but I love seeing this for a good time and watching huge *** robots fight. But then I think about the transformer g1 fans who feel hurt by what has become of there favorite franchise. I enjoy the movies but I see why they get the hate they get.

That's the one thing I really love about the films--Optimus doesn't **** around. Total badass? DAMN STRAIGHT!

After getting his **** kicked in by Megatron in the first film, they turned him into a god.

He's truly a warrior. And G1 elitists will hate me for saying this, but these robots are hundred times the warriors that the robots were--at least in a practical way (not necessarily a feat way but that's debatable).

As bad as the previous two were at times, I've loved every second of the robot-vs-robot action. And the designs are hit-or-miss, but they are fun to watch transform. It's done very well. As bad *** as Prime and Bumblebee ended up being in the films, I'd love to see what Sixshot or Hot Rod brought to the movie verse.
