Too expensive I'd say. The main reason the Bay movies are so awful are his humans, yet he had to fill out the movies without the need for every shot to be an FX shot. I'm not defending him in any way though, as what he created is the worst kind of populist stupid ****. I think anyone that thinks that Dark Side of The Moon is a good movie, should be sectioned.

Yeah I understand the reasoning, but with the amount of profit they've made and will make I reckon they could easily finance a robot-only or robot majority Transformers movie if they wanted

With this film franchise it's always been about making as much money and selling as many toys as possible. It was never about making a good film.

This is very true. Which unfortunately, they succeed in doing every time. Hence, this series is thriving.

It's quite common knowledge too that Bay had to update the designs for DOTM due to bad toy sales after ROTF.
