Yikes!

I'll admit that there are parts from the previous 3 that I found entertaining.

So this doesn't deliver on any level then.

It's easy to hate on the other three, which IMO are quite entertaining. They're much better than stuff like Pacific Rim or even Godzilla, which are the last two major monster movies. I can relate a bit to the kid and parents in all three and I agree they're a bit OTT in the third one but as a whole I did find them entertaining. I will say I also thought the humans in this one were solid enough and again much better than the cardboard people in Pacific Rim or Godzilla. The Transformers don't look like the cartoons but what I liked about them as a kid is clear IMO I the first three and this one as well. I didn't notice any drop off in cgi in this one and thought Galvatron was pretty cool looking. The big issue I had is the Dinobots are pretty damn cool but not in this nearly enough. I'll snag this on blu and will be curious to see what's next with how they ended this one. So I'd suggest go and see it. I mean if people can love Pacific Rim or Godzilla (which is better than PR) then I don't see why people can let themselves enjoy these Transformers movies.

PS: Bay did get rid of the stupid jokes like he had several times in the last three.

That Jeremy Jahns review is so funny! He trashed this film on a whole new level. I had to watch it twice!

Saw it last night. As with the other 3, I enjoyed it for what it was, a dumb action flick. They screwed up with the projector and the movie was delayed an hour, so everyone got free passes:yess:

These movies cater to the lowest denominator,of course it will Bank

The 1st one was reasonably enjoyable but as soon as they gave Devastator balls that was it for me. For the life of me I can't figure out why they can't make these movies actually focus on the Transformers with minimal involvement from the humans.

How is this movie worse than part 2 and 3? I'm not saying it isn't possible, I'm just genuinely curious.

Yeah, I'm very curious how it could be worse than part 3. 1 was watchable, 2 was painful, 3 was unwatchable IMO.
How can you get worse than unwatchable?

:lol

It's not worse than 3...but just not any better...I mean, when you are watching it...it's almost like you can predict the next move or fight sequence...you kinda leave the theater like "Wait, what just happened?"

It would cost too much. I don't think anyone would dislike the idea of a movie that's set on Cybertron, but the budget would be huge.
