Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Transformers 2 had a story?

I just remember it was about robots trying to get the last remaining shard from Sam, except for the other robots that were getting the other last remaining shard from that military facility, and the robots needed the shard because Optimus Prime was dead and the shard could bring him back but instead they used it to bring a different robot back who could tell them the location of the shard they needed to bring Optimus Prime back except that third final piece turned to dust and then Sam went to robot heaven but then he came back. And stuff blew up in slow motion and also really fast motion. And one robot talked like a pimp and one had balls. And then I had a headache.

Indeed. These movies suck. But are incredibly entertaining. Giant robot fights are fun to watch.

And yes, I can watch them. :lol

I can tell who's who.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I don't find them entertaining whatsoever.

They give me headaches..that's about it.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Im still amazed people think they want a "quality" Transformers movie premise in the first place. Obviously they weren't fans of the original cartoon which had fan favorite characters known as the DinoBots. These were DINOSAUR robots...... let me repeat DINOSAUR robots..... that for some reason were dumb, but strong... and apparently their intellect wasn't upgradable by the superior modern Transformers . ....
You'd think the people questioning logic in the movies would really be saying "Why the ____ did they even make a movie of the Transformers Cartoon at all. The entire premise is dumb as ____ .... :monkey1

They were a kids cartoon and had to have gimmicky corny episodes or characters.

But the premise is great - alien robots have a civil war between the rebelious and brutal decepticon faction and the authoritarian peaceful Autobots, the war rages and ravages their planet, the autobots leave to seek a new home and the Decepticons Follow to destroy them, the end up on earth and the autobots protect the planet and its population from destruction by the Decepticons as they plans to drain energy from the planet to restore their home, but by the death of the human race.

Good stuff, which as has many great stories made from it.

If quality movies can be made about animatronic pirates on a Disney ride or men who run (or fly) around in blue tights fighting evil then it sure as heck is possible to make a good movie about ass kicking robots from outer space.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

did you also have high hopes for the recent Smurfs movie? :lol

... sorry, I couldn't resist... :monkey1

I think....I'm not sure though....that there may have been a couple of robots in there....so I don't think it'll be that hard to make a 4th.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

thought Unicron was voiced by Orson Welles? Isnt he like Galactus. The junkbots were stereotypes.. not Unicron.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I thought Jazz was demeaning to African Americans.. or the "twins" (ala Jar Jar Binks)

and Blurr was offensive to homosexuals.

Just my opinion though...

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money
