Josh is going to be upset with me for posting here, but since you asked...

I wish they were actual Transformers... based on the source material...
and not Bionicle rejects...
And while they're at it maybe make the movie ABOUT the Transformers
and not Shia LeDouche... :dunno
Also, leave the toilet humor for something else... it doesn't belong in Transformers.
Finally, no "Optimaaaaaas"... and maybe, no military involved...
you know, just Robots?

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Guess what. Most people, don't relate to robots.

Most people relate to Shia and his job and chick problems.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

RoboCop's a cyborg.

C-3PO and R2 are the plot devices. Luke is the main character.

We relate to Hogarth, and his struggle with his friend.

I'll give you AI though. But imagine if he looked like a robot, not a human.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

People relate to anything if you write it well enough. There's more human emotion in the first 30 minutes of Wall-E than every movie Michael Bay has directed combined.

But, that ship has sailed. They are juggernaut blockbusters so there is zero possibility of changing the formula now.

Personally I don't care if they are pointless I just wish they weren't so stupid that it's actually kind of insulting. We all know people aren't there for the plot. That doesn't mean the plot has to be so idiotic that it flat-out contradicts itself.

But I'll go see it. :lol

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Hmm...Yeah, I guess that's true.

However, most people don't like Wall-E. Atleast the one's I talked too.

Not that I agree with them...but I think my point still stands. People just don't relate to bots. Maybe we can, because we can...ya know, appreciate good movies. But most people don't. They like fluffy, stupid ____.

I still think these flicks have some of the best action scenes ever made. If I have to suffer through Mr. Chow dropping pants in a bathroom stall, so be it. It's the best "stupid movie series" ever to me.

Dispite being a tad too long, nothing can top the building falling scene. That was just too unreal.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

With the money the Bay flicks made, tons of kids related to them as well.

Re: Transformers movies 4 and 5 with Bay

Probably Unicron if TF:prime is any indication.
The only good thing about these movies is the Transformer designs, although Devastater looks absolutely horrible.

I would love to see how they make Unicron look though, but hopefully they won't give him big robot balls.. :slap
