Well, if the budget's bigger, it will.

Thats why the first had very frenetic fight scenes.

Actually, those types of shots would be much harder to do than ones that are more steady. Camera tracking and set reconstruction is hard, and not to mention all the stuff they have to do on-set.

If they're following the leaked outline from a while back (which it seems like they are, roughly), then there's a lot more robot time in this one so that's where the money's going.

Oh of course. But I'd think it would be easier to only create a half a robot, then a whole one....but then again, i'm not an animator...so.

Yeah, that one, big robot at the end, and who also takes down those helicopters?

That is just one limb of Devastator. JUST. ONE.

I like the teaser but, did anyone see it in high def. I was trying to see "Devastator" and saw that it was a huge torso/arms/head on a giant wheel?? I hope he has a full body in the movie, just doesn't look right. Reminds of that cartoon, Gyro Gearloose/Duck from the 80's.

Holy ^^^^ GIANT ^^^^ING ROBOT at the end of that trailer.

point in case:

Also, the teaser kinda hints that Revenge of the Fallen might be darker in tone. I hope so.

GIZMODUCK!!!!!!!!!! That's it!!!!!!!! Perfect pic comparison. I really hope this is an alternate mode and that he will have legs....

There might be another big robot too (a good one) I can't remember the name, but it's the one that's a trailer that carries cars, it transforms into a big robot like that.
