It seems like Sam ends up similar to his great grandfather from the first film, going a little nuts drawing symbols.

^ Very, but you can almost picture Michael Bay behind the camera saying "arch your back a bit more, raise your ass a bit", it's painfully obvious pandering.
The trailer was cool, the movie will be fun, that's all that I can expect.

Well it sure looks like Cybertron was a huge "sausage fest".
If only they could apply fan service to aspects that are worthwhile to actual fans of Transformers, not fans of Ms. Fox.

Na, Arcee isn't that type of cycle. She'd probably be some type of crotch rocket.
That was nice. One thing that bothered me, Optimus sounded at times like they're not done recording the dialogue, some lines had that classic G1 voice going, others sounded like a whole other person.

I was actually surprised at how much fan service there was in this trailer alone, and I don't just mean Mikaela. 
Sam going insane with ancient knowledge seems to be based on one of the old Marvel Transformers comics, where Spike's brother Buster had the Matrix 'uploaded' into his body and was going nuts because of it.
The Constructicons rebuilding Megatron is right out of the cartoon where they were the ones who build Megatron. Him swimming to the surface is likewise right out of the end of MTME, where Megatron escaped the wreckage of his ship and swam away from it.
The trailer looked excellent IMO, and while the plot seems silly, at least it's already better then first movie's "glasses and magic cube" plot. Not to mention a LOT more robot on robot action instead of mostly the military doing everything! Bring on June 26th!

downloaded it and watched it.

That's sort of an Autobot theme. On the soundtrack, it's part of Scorponok Attack, in the movie, it's also played when all the autobots are heading out from the Sector 7 base into the city, might be other times, I just know those 2 off hand.
