Talk about over analysing a popcorn film. LOL. This was a popcorn film where you are expected to check your brain in at the door. If you want to challenge the auld grey matter might I suggest you look elsewhere. This is Michael "blow up ^^^^^" Bay we are talking about.

What's more disturbing is the acceptance of the majority of people to classic movies being remade. Alice in Wonderland is a classic movie. Why does it need a remake? Man I hope Burton falls on his ass with that one. The guy is good enough surely to come up with his own ideas. Planet of the Apes and Willy Wonka anyone. Jez.

The saucy Wanda Sykes-bots shouldn't have been cut-- they should never have been conceived.

Whenever someone uses the old "Its a good popcorn flick" line I cringe. IMO that is a nice way of saying the movie sucks balls. Even if that's not what you mean. When the only defense is "Its a good popcorn flick" that is almost enough to assure only a rental from me.

If you want to watch something funny, and entertaining, with a lot of explosions and robots, then go see it.

I'm just surprised because I mean Bay is just so poised to hit it out of the park. The only thing I could think of was that he really went back to TF too fast. Should've taken a longer break to clear his mind.

I will say this though, I welcome a TF3 completely (but take some time off, dude), which is certainly not the case with Terminator:McSalvation

I'll wait for the DVD is not a negative comment. As a matter of fact not once did I say anything negative about this movie. Why? Because as I have said, I haven't seen it. Your response is typical fanboy fodder.

Now back to the point. IMO when it comes to me seeing a movie in the theater unfortunately majority has to rule right now. I take opinions from the critics and elsewhere (members of the board and co-workers and such). Why? Because it costs me at least $25 to go see a movie. That is if I don't order food (which I always do). If I was fortunate enough to be able to afford to see every movie I wanted to in theater then you bet your ass I would. However, I am not in that situation.

But, I digress. I will wait for the DVD.
