Director Michael Bay has a third "Transformers" film in mind, and if it plays out as he expects, the next installment would have a more substantial role for Rodriguez. The filmmaker, speaking at his office a few weeks before "Revenge of the Fallen" was released, seemed to have some pride of discovery when talking about Rodriguez.
"I've worked with big stars, people like Will Smith, Sean Connery and Bruce Willis, but casting is a weird thing, it takes you places you don't expect," Bay said. "We went looking for a sidekick in this movie, Shia's sidekick, and we find this new kid who really pops on screen. I think he’s going to have a real bright career. It's great to work with big stars, but it's always fun to discover people."

I also noticed that Sam and his parents apparently drove across the country from their home to his new college in one afternoon and/or without changing their clothes.
Now, as to why a piece of the Allspark that killed Megatron when inserted into his chest would bring him back to life when inserted into his chest...
How do you know it was far away? What told you that? It could've been 45 minutes away.
Megatron was killed by having all of the power of the Allspark send into his body. On the ocean floor he was repaired/upgraded, and the Allspark shard was used to create a concentrated burst of energon that would retrieve his Spark and revive him.
Yeah I remember that scene and I was a little confused cause I thought I saw the decepticons turn on one of there own, wack him! Did i see that right?? And what was the purpose? So they could use his parts same as Jet fire?
I don't think they ever say where Sam's family lives (I always figured CA) but Mikaela (spelling?) asks him how he's going to handle the "east coast winters."
So they don't live near the east coast and it's warm during the winter.
1. In "Transformers," there was this giant battle in the middle of downtown Los Angeles -- excuse me, Mission City -- that was witnessed by thousands of people at the very least. But somehow the government was able to cover up the whole thing, and now the existence of alien robots is just an internet rumor? How did they do it? Pay off everyone who was there and quickly fix millions of dollars in damage? Also, didn't Keller (Jon Voight) go on TV and tell everyone we were being attacked by "a technological civilization far superior to our own"? How did they spin that?
2. There are two pieces of the Allspark cube left: the military has one under lock and key, and Sam discovers another. The Decepticons steal one and bring Megatron back to life. But when Sam (Shia LaBeouf) wants to bring back Optimus, he has to find the Matrix of Leadership on the other side of the globe. Why not use the other piece? Mikaela (Megan Fox) has it in her backpack the whole time. It brought his kitchen appliances to life, why can't it do the same for Optimus?
Sam in "fallen" heaven is even dumber
When Mikayla is on the phone she said that she booked a flight and would be there in a few hours. She even goes through Southwest to get there and mentions to Sam that she went cross country to save his life and he was cheating during the Isabel Lucas scene.
These two are the ones that really got me scratching my head.
ok thanks. maybe on a second viewing it would make sense. so much was going on that i must have missed it.
Aren't the answers to questions like that always "A wizard did it" ?
