I'd rather have him insted of the Twins. Even though I dug them. So, he'll be back in 3. But atleast he's not dead. He was left alive because everyone dug him so much.

I think that one point he was that Audi R8, but then they ended up changing him into a different character. Shame, would have at least cleaned up that particular plot point, even if he did go out like a ^^^^^.

Saw the film this weekend, I enjoyed, still like the first one better i think, would need to see it again when it arrives on dvd\Blu.

tell you one thing though, I hated the twins!!!

I have to say i was really looking forward to it, but was a bit disappointed.
-Non stop action.. cool.
-megan fox....hell yeahhhhh
-optimus bashing everyone in the forest....cool.
-wheelie was funny..
-ravage was awesome!!

Sorry but some things are really bad..
-soundwave did absolutely nothing.......lame
-jetfire (or as most of us who grew up with tv cartoon lovingly know him as 'skyfire') was dreadful..... how can they make him old, with a beard, and a walking stick on top of that!! .....super lame....
-very similar to the first one, especially the ending, optimus sending out his message again, looking into the sunset...blahhh....
-troops fighting in the desert again.....
-bumblebee not being able to talk..again.... i mean how long does it take ratchet to fix his voicebox??? cmon....
-devastator did nothing but sucked up some sand and climbed up the pyramid and looked like a hunched over ape..
-the matrix looking like blades glaive....(who is designing these things?)
-and the worst part, not being able to recognise any robots cause they all look like scraps of metal.......
-and those 2 homie autobot mini cars, so annoying, im glad bumblebee slammed em together....

Wow... Go Megan! I'm glad she has the brass balls to say such a thing. And WTF is with Bay taking credit for making Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Nick Cage, Ben Affleck and Shia "known"? I mean, he DOES know that they don't all owe him a reacharound for making their careers.

Sure, did his movies help?.... absolutely. But don't take credit for making them what they are simply because Megan Fox bashes your films. Michael Bay needs to realize that his movies are explosion porn, with some crazy action and jokes peppered in... he does NOT make great films by any means. Popular films? Yes. Successful? Yes.

But he's not making careers for actors like he's Spielberg or Scorcese.

Actually, I found Megan Fox's statements funny. Like she even thought Transformers was supposed to be serious acting. She read the script beforehand. She should've known she was there for window dressing and that's it. I don't think she's really in too much of a position to be pissing directors off. It's not like she's Meryl Streep or something.

If there is a Transformers 3, hopefully this will keep her out of it.

Why? Because. He's right. He did make a lot of careers out of actors. Did anyone give a ^^^^ about Ben Afleck before Armageddon or Pearl Harbor? Will Smith wasnt that big before Bad Boys...(but really became big when MIB came out...), so....the man does have a point.

Not that Fox isnt wrong, but she isnt right either.

Ok, just got back and I got to say it was pretty cool. Of course there were things I didn't like, but overall for me this was a cool summer movie. I of course just took it for face value, a popcorn movie and not anything else.

And that's just what it is. I mean come one, do you really expect anything else from Bay??!! Not that he doesn't make good movies, but he doesn't make art film or serious dramas. Come one people, pull your heads out of your backsides.

Ok, I'll break it down how I saw it.

Pros:

- Giant ^^^^ing robots!!
- Giant ^^^^ing robots beating the ^^^^ out of each other!!!!
- Optimus Prime and Jetfire combining!! (even though it was to short for me)
- Bumblebee stomping ass against Rampage and Ravage!!
- The forest fight!!
- The desert fight!!
- Rainn Wilson
- Ravage

Cons (not cons really, just things I didn't like):

- Twins(not racist to me, but worse than Jazz cause there were two of the stupid asses. Ugh! But at least they were more useful in the end against the Devastator than Jazz ever was. To bad they never show if they died or not, they just kind went away????)
- Robots balls
- Robots humping legs
- Parents
- Horrible Decepticon college girl. That was ^^^^ing stupid!! Isabel Lucas is not at all cute. Ewww!!! I would touch her with Josh's ^^^^! lol
- Sam wigging out in class. That was worse than the ghey Spiderman 3 dance. ^^^^ing cut my eyes out with a rusty spoon and stab my eardrums with a dull pencil
- Not enough cool Autobots. Only Sideswipe was even remotely worthy to be an Autobot compared to the rest of them.
- The robots ^^^^ing talked to damn much!!
- The All Spark only making evil robots. What the hell is that about.
- Bringing back Blackout as Grindor. WTF??!!
- Jetfire being geriatric was kinda stupid to me.
- The serious lack of actual power of the bombs dropped in the movie. During the desert fight, if all of those "supposed" 2,000 lb JDAMs were dropped by the B-1B that close, all of them would be ^^^^ing DEAD!!!!!!!!!! Just compared to all the other things, that for some reason got to me more than most. Guess it's the military in me.


Well, even though there are more cons than pros, this was a pretty awesome movie to me and better than the first one. It will definitely wind up in my BR collection right alongside the first movie!

Saw this in IMAX the other day. It was good....it was missing the special feel of the first film. The first film was great, had more story, depth and emotion to it. This one was a non-stop action film with constant jokes and music playing. It feels like TF 1 & 2 were directed by two different people.

Bay strikes me like a lot of musicians, his work is entertaining and I enjoy it, but his attitude outside of the work is terrible.
