Only a genius like Michael Bay would hire an Oscar winner for one of his movies and then subsequently take credit for their career.

:D

I think he was talking about action movies with them. Cage never did a big action flick before The Rock, and after that, he was doing a new one every week. And insted of becoming a oscar winner, he became a crappy action star. Well...he got fame, but he picks the worst movies to star in.

And you are too jaded and cynical to enjoy a dumb blockbuster? :dunno

CelticP has a point. It's supposed to be dumb fun. For Pete's sake, it's based on a 80's Saturday Morning Cartoon riddled with flaws, plot holes, characters coming from out of no where, animation mistakes, voice actors doing the wrong voices for the wrong characters. Am I missing out on something here?!

AM I?! WELL, AM I?! HOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What i liked the most about this movie

was how dominant and stronger Optimus Prime was,he totally owned the decepticons ,and when he died they searched for the Matrix to bring him back to Life because he was the only one who could defeat The Fallen.I got the same feeling when i watched the cartoon as a kid and remember how dominant he really was,i can`t say the same about Prime in TF1 when Megatron kicked Prime`s ass all over the place. In TF2 they changed all that.

Where can I get regular Leader Class Toys??!!

And are they metal or plastic or a mix of media??

Thanks!!

You can get the "regular" Leader Class Toys at Toysrus, Target, K-mart, Wal-mart, amazon, and many other online stores.
Toysrus has a sale where you purchase a figure or figures that reach $30 then you get a $10 giftcard. This sale ends on July 4, 2009.
Target also has a sale going on where all the Leader Class figures are selling for $39.95 instead of the retail $44.95. Deluxe class figures are going for $8.99 instead of $11.99. Also check out Target's website for more details on the sale. There is a a 10% discount if you buy two figures (Any version, deluxe, leader, scout, etc.) There is a 15% discount if you buy 3 figures and you get 20% off if you buy 4 figures. I believe the sale ends on July 11, 2009. Leader Class Jetfire is the rare figure to get right now since he is just released. Hopefully they will have plenty of stock of him at the stores. I was lucky to get mine on amazon.com for a descent price but if you check amazon now the price has gone way up on Leader Class Jetfire. Happy Hunting :)

Actually, I found Megan Fox's statements funny. Like she even thought Transformers was supposed to be serious acting. She read the script beforehand. She should've known she was there for window dressing and that's it. I don't think she's really in too much of a position to be pissing directors off. It's not like she's Meryl Streep or something.

If there is a Transformers 3, hopefully this will keep her out of it.

Exactly, the movie isn't about acting which is why she is in it. If it was about acting she wouldn't have been let within 10 miles of the set.

:nono You are sometimes way too young for your own good...

Actually, no he doesn't. He's an egotistical idiot. Not that you'd know, but Nicolas Cage (who is Francis Ford Coppola's nephew) was making movies before you were even born and way before anyone had even heard of your boy Bay.

Will Smith had a hit TV show long before BAD BOYS. So did Martin Lawrence...

And, yes, people did give a crap about Ben Affleck before ARMAGEDDON. That's because both CHASING AMY and GOOD WILL HUNTING (for which he also won a writing Oscar) came out before that. Hell, if anything Bay should try and take credit for ruining Affleck's career since he's basically just been making garbage since then.

And he didn't even discover Shia, Spielberg did. Hell, I'm surprised he's not trying to take credit for the careers of Bruce Willis, Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanson, too. What a complete POS.
couldn't agree more. michael bay is the biggest egomaniac POS i've ever seen in my life. his movies are nothing more than big explosions with small bits of substance that are only there to transition to the next explosion driven scene. yes, he does know how to make an entertaining summer move, but that's about the extent of his talent.
~~and the bit about affleck career to the dumps is hilarious. :wacky
