LOL!! I found this video ...thought I whould share...it tells us why we went to see transformers!

Its just you. The ending was totally different. For one, megatron wasnt killed by sam, Prime defeated the fallen in the most awesome and brutal way possible and saved the planet and the solar system. Quite different from prime getting his ass kicked by megatron and sam defeating him by shoving the cube into his chest.

Or are you referring to the scene on the aircraft carrier? In which case, yes quite the same but its to be consistent.
 
I apologize if this has been discussed before-- but can someone explain to me why Michael Bay cast Glenn Morshower in two separate parts for both movies???

He was SOCCENT Colonel Sharp in the first movie where he died at the opening assault by Blackout on the army base (no survivors remember?) and then he's the main military guy in charge of NEST in ROTF as General Morshower. Are there so few actors that Bay has to recycle them???

I suppose it works as multiple dead Decepticons seemingly were brought back to life without any explanation in the movie-- yes they might have been someone else but that was never fully explained... Blackout-- Scorponok-- Brawl--

Instead of Brawl do you mean Bonecrusher? cause i dont remember Brawl in the movie.

Yep, sorry-- It was Bonecrusher (or an exact duplicate) who's in vehicle mode right before the desert fight. (right after Tyrese's character says "This ain't good")
 
Scorponock never died. and Blackout was sent to the abyss with meg so was bonecrusher so im guessing they got revived again.

As am I (about Blackout-- although someone claimed it was a new Decepticon) but it would have been nice if the Decepticons we saw get wrecked stay gone and those that we never saw get destroyed *cough cough* Barricade-- actually show up. :confused::lol

I saw this last Friday and actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I never cared for the first movie, so maybe having very low expectations helped :lol

The "shuck and jive" robot brothers were fairly painful to watch and of course there were lots of dumb moves throughout, but I left the theater feeling satisfied. I especially liked the battle scenes, these seemed a lot more refined than the first movie and I was less confused by what was going on.

The battle in the forest was particularly nice looking.

Sorry but I have to disagree...
I LOVE blockbusters... I've been watching blockbusters as far as I can remember... I see all kinds of movies... (except chick flicks), Indie movies, Horror movies, Comedy movies, Sci-Fi, Action, you name it...
I don't care about mindless movies... hell I even enjoyed the AVP movies...
but Transformers 2 is in a whole new category of celebrating stupidness...
it has nothing to do with Transformers anymore...
If you change the title to Another Big Robot Movie, it would make more sense... it's a parody of itself!!! And that's pretty sad...
I love explosions and hot chicks and nonsense in movies... i expect that at a Jason Statham movie for example... mindless action fun...

But with Transformers I at least expected something to make sense...
not just annoying characters and a lot of yelling and being stupid...
If I wanted that, I'd watch Scary Movie, or Superbad...

Anyway... I like fun movies... but Transformers 2 isn't fun at all IMO...
I usually hate the critics, but I have to agree with them this time...

I saw this today and had about the same feelings. The horribly low expectations really helped. I did think it was about 30 minutes too long and I really hated having to see robot balls and a leg humping toy truck.:monkey4
