i think it's more the fact that all the action was hard to follow - the camera kept moving around very fast, the wide shots of the action were so few and far between (and short lived), and there were so many robots on screen at times that one got lost on who was doing what. at least that's how I felt.

and NO it wasn't better than in transformers1. bay just took what was wrong with the first movie and magnified it. ^^^^ him and his uncontrolled, indulgent excessiveness. yes, feel free to flame me for my opinion. bring it!


btw, pls note that i'm only referring to the last 30mins in the desert. i didn't have as much of a problem with the earlier stuff...

Yeah i agree that optimus prime is the man. his forest battle was the best scene in the whole movie. at least there u could pretty much follow the action without much difficulty.

I think someone on hometheaterforum.com put it best; "ROTF is the movie we were all afraid would be made when it was first announced that Michael Bay would be directing a Transformers movie." Hopefully Spielberg will have a bigger hand in TF3.

I went to the movie with moderate expectations and found it highly entertaining. Much more Transformer screen time in this movie. Skids and Mudflap, I'm sorry, are nowhere near as bad as Jar Jar. The roommate, while unnecessary, also didn't bother me. Prime kicked all kinds of ass. I don't see what the uproar was about.

ROTF was awesome, and so is bay. Transformers never was and never has to be anything more than giant robots kicking the living crap out of each other and lots of explosions. M.Bay is perfect for that and i cant wait for number 3!
