My whole theory on duplicate transformers/clones/characters seemingly revived from the dead is this: We all look the same as a species for the most part (especially as soldiers dressed in uniforms)...so do transformers and their warriors. Its also not entirely silly to imagine that many transformers select similar alt modes as each other, as there are only so many vehicles on the planet and each transformer must select an alt mode which will work for them. Hell one could even class it as a race type of thing. Certain transformers cant fly, so they select land-based vehicles, same goes for flying robots and it wouldnt be too hard for someone to "choose the same outfit" to put it in laymens terms, as someone else.

Solidsnake: Your link takes me to a page where the should be a video but it wants me to download an app in order to play it. You sure this aint a virus of some kind? What is the link for anyway?

I took my nephew to see this last night. Easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. But that's fine, I know a lot of people don't expect much from a giant robot movie. I could barely believe the minstrel Autobots - at one point I checked my watch to make sure it was still 2009.

The whole thing was worth it for the scene where they bust out of the Air & Space museum only to discover Washington, DC has somehow transformed into a desert.

The robot panther was pretty cool.

Thx, I can appreciate the fights scenes abit more but the movie is still garbage

whale gun??

yeah the desert thing and the museum is the biggest thing that bugs me about this movie. But for me the pro's outweighed the cons so i liked it. I just hope for the third film they dont phone it in so much, and actually put some effort into it instead of rushing out a quick sequel which is what rotf felt like.

rail gun. it's actually a real weapon in development. uses highly magnetized rails to launch a conductive projectile. current test model fires at 7 times the speed of sound.

the gun on metal gear rex's arm in MGS is a rail gun.

That would be a "rail" gun which is based on actual technology the US military is developing.

There's a video on YouTube with one of the tests and having seen what one of the projectiles it fired did to a wall I'd hate to see the mess it'd make of a large sea creature :lol

ok, i waited 3 weeks to see this in the hopes the hype would die down and i could see it in a somewhat subdued theater experience.

boy am i stupid.

the movie would have been a decent follow up to TF, nothing ground breaking or epic, but a good popcorn action flick. typical michael bay flare.

i would have more to say about the movie had i not been distracted through the whole thing by a walking stereotype with her food stamp kids. now, i'm not going to call out races, but gimme a break. apparently what you see in stand up routines, comedies, and satire's are not exaggerations.

if the children weren't climbing all over the seats and on other patrons hooting and hollering, this rotund beast was talking to the movie like it was going to respond to her and making calls on her cell phone.

before i end this tirade, don't start with all the PC nonsense about me being racially insensitive or a bigot. this idiot and her brood could have been green with sparkly antennae and i'd have been equally pissed off.

i'll guess i'll get a better feel for the movie on video. that's the last time i'm going to a theater.

My sympathies on your experience. It's bad when a few people can represent real-life stereotypes :lol. And then later on, I bet that they'll go ahead and complain about scenes from the movie that they found to be stereotypical. The hypocrites.

Indeed! Screw the critics who shot down this movie! :maul

Hell yeaa !! screw the critics !
This movie must be doing something right for making 700milion dollars and counting.

Man !! I have seen the movie 4 times and evrytime the movie is done people applauded so the there is more people that like it then the people that dont.

man ! talking about this movie makes me want to go see it again !
OPTIMUS PRIME FTW !!

If the Decepticons could bring Megatron back to life using a piece of the AllSpark why couldn't Sam bring Optimus back??And WHY WHYdo they have to change Ravage so much.:( He looks like S^^^^. Don't get me wrong. I liked the movie but I guess I just miss the G1 look of them. Change the Matrix of Leadership...Please it looks stupid.

Drinking gasoline can kill you. You can't drink it for 5 years because you'd be dead or in the hospital from drinking it the first time.

It was only a splinter, it was too small to bring back optimus, unlike the one they used to bring back megatron which was quite big in comparison. Thats the way i see it anyway.

And G1 boxy look wouldnt work in a live action film.
