SPOILER PICTURES--- (TURN YOUR HEAD AND COUGH)

My Shangri-La Wal-Mart finally got its act together so this time I was able to buy three of the movie Transformers: Jazz and Bumblebee (for G1 nostalgic reasons)-- and the Decepticon cop car called Barricade(although in hindsight maybe the tank would have been better).

Not bad for ten bucks a piece--- anyway, here are some shots in case you haven't seen them yet (and want to).

The Autobots in robot mode

Bumblebee close-up

Jazz close-up

And the Decepticon police car called Barricade (with Frenzy... enough said where he comes from)

(imageshack is acting up-- I'll see if I can't load this one on later)

Must buy!!!!!

I wasn't going to either but then the good ol' days of 84-85 came creeping back... Best Christmas ever--1984.... Optimus Prime and Starscream under the Christmas tree.

:rotfl :rotfl Stupid robots. Why did they make this movie live action? It should have been a cartoon or all cgi. It will be bad. Mark my words, it will be bad. :monkey4

Spiderman 3, same, same. Pirates 3, same, same. Shrek 3, same, same.

Give me something fresh this summer.

I'm no Transformers fan, and when i first heard of the movie I was completely underwhelmed (And Michael Bay directing didn't fill me with hope).

But the new trailer absolutely rocks.

I,m really looking forward to this one, and believe the box office will be huge, as many punters have been surprised like me.

The robots are stunningly rendered.

took a pic of the GIANT ad in Times Square the other day.

Then I am cool cause I got the TOWER of METAL POWER!

She's a beaut! *hugs her*

I don't think I'll get Leopard. Time Machine isn't worth a 100 dollars.

Saw a longer preview for this today at the theater and the more I see the less enthused I get. I really can't get down with the new designs... they seem way too busy and I don't get a good Transformers vibe from them.

Also there was a scene in which Shia was telling Optimus to be quite so his mom wouldn't get angry... stuff like that always worries me.

Anyway, I'll still go see it, but I've got a real bad feeling about this one :monkey2

Megatron looks bad ass. He maybe a cluster**** but his one kickass looking cluster****!
800megatron__scaled_.jpg

Is it me or does "Megatron" look like one of those GoBots Rock Lords?

Or maybe an insect like mech out of Aura Battler Dunbine?

How about the Gran Kaiser from Gravion?

Why not Escaflowne from The Vision of Escaflowne?

I'd go as far as to say Shinji's EVA from Neon Genesis Evangelion bares a slight resemblance.

BUT, do you know what "Megatron" does not resemble?

A TRANSFORMER

Off to a good start!

Something about rats cooking in a kitchen makes me go kind of bleh despite all of the positives I've heard from folks here...
