I did the suggestions you guys gave me and i must say my jayne looks 100X better. i also finished his shirt which i am very happy with.

and here is a preview of something else that i am working on. i just need another mal head.

I just tried putting on my Hasbro jumpsuit on my true trype body for Kaylee and I'm not liking the look of it. I guess I'll be sewing one after all...

or at least attempting it.

the link is for a G.I. Joe jumpsuit pattern. It may be a good starting point for a Kaylee jumpsuit or even wash.

The Tonner is 17" while Trev's sculpts are meant for 12" figures.

So, NO.

Tonner figures are almost 1/4 in scale. The Trevor 1/6 sculpts are way to small for a head swap with a Tonner figure. I have some Tonner figures and they are best described as dolls. Almost zero articulation and doll like facial features. I don't think you would be happy with the results even if you could swap heads.

I've got my fabric cut out and my TT body came today.

I have to finish making a mold and do some casting tomorrow but I will still manage to sew a little.

Well after 2+ weeks and 4 emails, a PM and numerous posts on this thread without any reply !

Im looking to do it myself now (trip to my local haberdashery on the cards) have the clasps supplied by Old Grandpa (a fantastic member of this board)

Questions / Suggestions . . . . how is everyone creating the piping that runs down the seam of Mals trousers ?
