So here is my Mal bash. I still have to get the head painted, and I'm trying to figure out where to do that.

I pretty much followed the fantastic advice given here and with Trevor, Chad, and Steve-o's help, here is the results:

Awesome! looks outstanding! I love the suspenders you are using!

As for painting the head, if you hop over to the customs section there and many skilled painters if you don't want to attempt it yourself.

The suspenders actually were from Chad, he did a great job on those for me.

Yeah, I'm just not that skilled at the painting. I've been looking around for painters, but it's been difficult finding someone good, but that I can also afford!

Mighty Jabba is very good and quite reasonable. He did the Firefly heads for my son, Protozaius. I just sent him 4 sculpts for painting and from the photos he sent me, he's done some really nice work on them. I used Josh at Small Studios for my Firefly sculpts. He does excellent work, but is a bit spendy and has a large backlog. Good luck.

Just finished making my vest for Zoe from Serenity. It was a huge pain! Now i just gotta make her jacket and I am set for her! got the rig yesterday and put the knife I ordered for her on it and it looks awesome! I will post pics tonight.

Thanks for the emails everyone on the Firefly items....The last couple of orders are finally going to ship out late in the week. After that, I will be taking a break from any new Firefly items so I can update the website and work on some new products as well.

Oh...and those couple members who didn't preorder but were on the list, your orders should be ready late in the week or the first part of next week. WHEW!!!!!!

It has been a blast doing these for everyone and thank you even more for your patience while I continue to make and pack the orders up.

You know, I still havent finished my own bashes for these yet...LOL

Here she is! The shotgun she is holding will be replaced with the trench gun she has when they are on Miranda and at the final battle.

Huh must be the lighting because the pleather not very shiny at all. unless you mean the nude arms?
