I gotta say that it is good to see some REAL vampires back. With all this Twighlight crap and The Vampire Diaries show that's coming on (that's teeny just like twighlight) it feels like old school vamps are out and cute lovey dovey vamps are in. It's good to see TrueBlood keep it real and stay grounded.

Speaking of scenes....I was surprised to find out that Hoyt has been in more episodes then Lafayette! Not more screen time...just in every episode!
I like Hoyt's character, just a shy & innocent dude. I really liked his interaction with Jessica, it seems like he might play a big part in making her feel normal and will keep her from going Teen Vamp Gone Wild.

Only thing that could make True Blood better would be if the vampires couldnt go out in the sunlight because they were actually sparkley like a million beautiful diamonds glistening in the rays of light! Now THAT just screams EVIL!!

Hoyts a great character glad they found a nitch for him this season. I like that they are bringing Eric's character into more episodes. it brings more of the darker side of the vampire life into the show. let hope we see more of that half human/bull creature too.

I'm sure we'll see the Bull-Human and hopefully some Werewolves in the near future.

I'm sure we'll see werewolves too. Especially since Sam told Sookie last season that they exist. I just can't wait to see how they portray them and make them look.

or the flip side to that..she corrupts him

Werewolves are in the books along with a few other Supernaturals. I can't wait to see them come about in the show.

this season is turning out better than the first. Lets hope sam sticks around instead of skipping town.

I have a feeling Sam is going to play a major role in this season. He is somehow intimately tied into the Tara/Greek Goddes Social Worker story line. It seems Daphne will tie him into the whole Were-minitaur story line AND IMDB credits him in all upcoming episodes.

They hired the actor to be a lead for the season - so I'd imagine they'll keep him around. Could be a reason they're diverging from the books so much.

I knew Mary-Anne was that thing deep down.
