I'm thinking that Eric sicced Lorraine on Bill so he couldn't interfere with Sookie getting into the cult. But that seemed to backfire. And perhaps Godric was only pretending to be a captive so the other vamps would show up to rescue him and wipe out the cultists once and for all.

Do you think Godric could also be telepathic? How did he know Sookie was screaming for help..

:lol :lol :lol :lol

Well my sister has read the books and if it goes by the books then this is what's going to happen:

Loraine is so obsessed with wanting to be with Bill that she threatens to kill Sookie. So Bill has to break Sookie's heart and dump her to be with Loraine to save Sookie's life. I think this will happen as it's been said that Sookie has sex with Eric this season. I think he'll be there with open arms when she needs comfort from Bill breaking her heart.

yeahhhhh next week's preview showed Sookie laying in bed with someone with blonde hair. *dun dun dun* Loraine really pisses me off as well. I dont think i like the idea of a woman vampire overpowering a male vampire just because she's older. I wonder what's up with Jason as well, is he going to fight with the vamps or just run away?

Another great episode.

I've got a feeling the only way to get Sookie out of being massacred at that church maybe if a Vampire lays claim to her, when Bill says "shes mine", other vampires couldn't touch her. I'm thinking Eric will have to do the same to prevent the Texas gang from going to work on her.

Yep loved this episode was gutted when it ended i wanted to see Godric rip that guy apart. :lol

Can't wait to see the next one. :rock

This season is great but is anyone else confused at how Sookie could fight in season 1. Lets go back to last season when she saved Bill from being bled out by those 2 hicks. She had super strength. She wrapped the chain around her hand and punched that guy across the street!!! Now this season she is acting helpless. This is just confusing me. Does anyone else remember that episode last season? It was the only time they showed her strength and she didn't have any vamp blood yet.
As for Godric, if you looked closely he was sick, like he hadn't rested. He looked like Bill and Lorena when they were getting sick but they were still super strong and fast. Godric is over 2000 years old and erik was scared so he probably sensed Erik feelings and went to help Sookie. He must have been close by. This season is better then last season and seems to keep getting better. I want to see if jason has any powers.
Maryann is going to get done in by Tara. I just have that feeling. I think Lafayette can see through X and senses what he has done or becoming. Did you catch the comment he made when he met X at the bar? "Satan in a sunday hat"? Andy may have some supernatural abilities or he may have just been to drunk to be affected. Either way he knows or feels something is wrong and he is a good detective so he will put 2 and 2 together.
Does anyone know how many more episodes there are to go?

Im thinking maybe Eric sicced Lorena on Bill so that when Sookie ran into trouble Eric could be her savior. Hoping to get on her good side perhaps?

I think there is more to the church then meets the eye. Some force greater then stakes and silver bullets! Something the ministeris controlling that is beyond human that will be ironically evil.

You know I forgot about that part... it almost seemed like her abilities were subconscious, and at the time she wasn't aware of what she was doing.

Odd though, that it seems that was quickly abandoned.

I think you may be on to something there.

The other 36.06% will be preventing cancer right King? :D
Hopefully it will involve killing Ewoks! :D

Just makes you wonder why they abandoned that aspect of her powers. After that episode they were never shown again, even when she was being attacked by Renee (i think that was the killer with the girls name) :D

Back when the first episode aired I thought maybe she had super human fighting ability. Now Im just thinking it was a campy and poorly designed fight scene. As in, that aspect of her powers wasnt abandoned...it just never existed and we all read into a bad fight scene and nonsense as a super power.

Godric heard Sookie - he's in the building, and let's not forget the vamps exceptional hearing. Now, as to WHY he bothered to save her, that's still to come...

It's interesting to watch the show, and see people's comments, having read almost all 9 books. BTW, the spoiler on the previous page about what happened in the books with Lorena and Bill is NOT accurate. And they've already altered the introduction of Lorena considerably from the books (much like they have with Tara and the maenyad), so I don't expect the relationship between Lorena, Bill and Sookie to play out the same anyway.
