Man, I'm only into episode 6 of Season 1 (Black Friday special season 1 for $20) and I friggin love this show. Still don't know all the characters names by memory, but could they portray the main blond chick any more innocent yet sexual?

I just finish3ed where "Bill" gives a speech at the church and everyone loves him and then he flashes black to how he was turned back in the civil war. And the brother of innocent dumb blond is banging some strange out by the dumpster after taking his second dose of "V".

Great show, I wasn't sure at first, as seemed like a little bit low budget and just about sex, which certainly plays a role, no doubt, but I can see some good character development taking place, as is typically the case with all good HBO TV series.

Have you read the books? Don't know how much the series is going to follow them...but I'm sure it will be interesting. I hear that Eric is going to be naked this season. Yeah for me.

I haven't read the books just summaries on wikipedia. So far they included a lot of details from the book into the two seasons. Like how Eric is the only Vamp that can fly. LOL Nude Eric gotta love it... personally I want to see Jess in the flesh muahaha

Book 2 was actually quite a bit different than season 2....but I hope they steer a little closer to the source material for 3. There's some good stuff with Eric in that one.

Filming is well under way! But no Bubba in the show.

And I'm down with some Jessica skin scenes. God she is so beautiful in person. And the shy, nervous thing she had going on at SDCC made her even more attractive.

I haven't watched the show, but I've listened to all of the books and I love them. From what I've read, the 1st 2 seasons were more or less the first two books.
