Yes, they were wearing gloves. They made it pretty obvious, but it could be intentially misleading.

While the weres capturing Bill sounds interesting, I'm doubting it's them. That's a war they wouldn't want to start, as they'd be on the losing end.

I also think that if it was a werewolf, he would have heard them or smelled them coming...whereas a vampire can be super swift and fast and could catch him off guard.

I don't know how I would feel if it was Eric that did that to Bill..I don't think I would like where that story would most likely go...I would much prefer it to be Lorena (or whatever her name was) or even a fairy than Eric. I want there to be tension and rivalry between Eric/Bill/Sookie...just not the type that would be created if he is the one behind Bill's kidnapping. Don't know if that makes any sense...but it sure does in my head. :lol

Here's my prediction in one spot - Lorena can't live without Bill, blah blah blah, and kidnapped him. Eric is behind it in a way, since he's the one that started the whole thing by bringing her back to give him access to Sookie. But now it's backfiring on Eric, as he'll be afraid that with Bill kidnapped (and unlikely to be treated too well, considering what a wack job Lorena is) the secret of Eric/Sophie-Anne selling Vamp blood will be at risk. Eric will work with Sookie to save him, and they'll figure out pretty quick that it must have been vamps that took him for the same reasons Jen pointed out, so they'll turn to the were community to help, since they won't know which vamps they can really trust.

I predict that your prediction is probably spot on. I can handle that...and then they can bring in the King of Mississippi as well...he and Lorena can be in cahoots. Damn, I can't wait for season 3 to start.

Have you ever watched Underworld? Weres vs Vamps is an age old battle. No winners, no losers. Plus the Weres in True Blood from the way they are described by Sam and others are not ones to be fooled with.
Anyway they introduce them is going to be badass.

I don't know...having read the books, I think the vamps have the upper hand. If it was one against one..maybe it would be a draw. But the were community is much smaller than the vamp community.

It will be interesting though when they introduce them next season...especially that Pelt chick. She is bad news...will be exciting for sure.

Season= :rock :rock :rock :rock :rock

Can't argue with the King. I agree!

As for Wares I doubt its them, Bill isn't significant enough to bring around a whole "war" amongst them and from Sam's description they sound like nomadic horrible creatures, I doubt they are even banded together in the same form as the vampires.

It only takes the right leader to bring the weres together and the vamps have a lot of infighting so it will be interesting. I hope this show starts again in January at the latest.

Here's the full Depeche Mode song with footage from Season 2. I really love this song.....it's sexy as hell. :D

Shifters on the show aren't superhuman - Sam as a dog isn't super strong, he's as strong as a dog. Weres don't shift into some sort of inhumanly strong wolf - they shift into a wolf. They have some special atributes, like faster healing than regular humans, and they are certainly stronger than normal, but this isn't Underworld.

OTOH, the vamps ARE superhumanly strong. Lets not forget the damage that Bill, by himself, did at the trailer when he was covering up the deaths of the two low lifes that tried to drain him. The Ratrays? something like that. The weres wouldn't stand a chance against the vamps.

But I'd love to see an example on the show. There was one off page in the third book, but it was a were killed by Bubba, so I'm not sure we'll get something like that.
