Good finale to a average season. Bill and Northan make a great team!! Was awesome to see Tara gets her brains splattered. Russell shall return!!

As to the earlier question about using V to fix Tara instead of turning her into a vamp...V only works if you're hurt but still alive. If Tara is dead, the only choice is to turn her if you want to save her.

Right, but either way she'd need to drink V. To become a vamp she would need to drink V after she was fully drained which she could not do if dead?

That's how the show has portrayed it, at least with Jessica...in the books, they can bring someone over as a vamp after they've died, but they've never gone into any real detail as to the exact process. Of course, they've also contradicted that in the books as well at one point - for a series about vamps, the process of becoming a vamp is pretty well undefined. Maybe the only way to do it after they were dead is some sort of forced transfusion? And perhaps doing that isn't such a good idea anyway...

Actually, as much as I'd like to see where they take the idea of someone that hated vamps becoming one, I'd be just as happy with Tara dead-dead.

I was perfectly aware of how lucky I was to be invited to the red carpet season premiere and after party for True Blood on 5/30. The episode is freakin' amazing. Definitely their best season premier yet!

As far as the episode I thought it was pretty "meh" to be honest. It got the season storylines going but that's it.
