Unfortunately, it's that exact thinking that got this thread to this point
It's not.

They do. It's imperative we stop them and not pretend to do so. The TSA is a failure, and only escalates it's policies after they've been shown for their inadequacies. Unfortunately, they only add more of what they were doing wrong in the first place, inconveniencing and violating the very people they are alleged to be protecting, all so that they can be sure not to violate the non-existent constitutional rights of those they're pretending to protect us from.
sprig0701 said:and with all of the civil and constitutional rights we as a nation are protected under
And which your beloved government violates regularly with crap such as this, because again, it thinks those who seek to destroy the principles which the Constitution embodies deserve the same protection as those who seek to preserve it.
sprig0701 said:that those make any plans of protection put in place far from perfect.
No one's looking for perfection, just competence.
sprig0701 said:And those same people are using all of this an an excuse to spew their hate for sections of our government
You have it backwards. No one would hate it if it were worth a damn. Why shouldn't something contemptible be hated? And are you implying that the mere presence of emotion is indicative of irrationality? That's just stupid.
sprig0701 said:or to generalize the TSA as a corrupt organization
Any institution that receives payment for nothing and causes those forced to accept their services against their will to incur costs above and beyond the price they're already forced to pay is corrupt on its face.

Someone here had a bad personal experience? I didn't. I'm just capable of recognizing bull____ when I see it. Thankfully, I'm not the only one.
