Unfortunately, it's that exact thinking that got this thread to this point

It's not.

and some people can't understand that really bad people want to do really bad things to other people

They do. It's imperative we stop them and not pretend to do so. The TSA is a failure, and only escalates it's policies after they've been shown for their inadequacies. Unfortunately, they only add more of what they were doing wrong in the first place, inconveniencing and violating the very people they are alleged to be protecting, all so that they can be sure not to violate the non-existent constitutional rights of those they're pretending to protect us from.

and with all of the civil and constitutional rights we as a nation are protected under

And which your beloved government violates regularly with crap such as this, because again, it thinks those who seek to destroy the principles which the Constitution embodies deserve the same protection as those who seek to preserve it.

that those make any plans of protection put in place far from perfect.

No one's looking for perfection, just competence.

And those same people are using all of this an an excuse to spew their hate for sections of our government

You have it backwards. No one would hate it if it were worth a damn. Why shouldn't something contemptible be hated? And are you implying that the mere presence of emotion is indicative of irrationality? That's just stupid.

or to generalize the TSA as a corrupt organization

Any institution that receives payment for nothing and causes those forced to accept their services against their will to incur costs above and beyond the price they're already forced to pay is corrupt on its face.

Someone here had a bad personal experience? I didn't. I'm just capable of recognizing bull____ when I see it. Thankfully, I'm not the only one.

Ohhh, Mr. Hypocrite. You were just blabbing about not being able to construct an intelligent response, and you resort to this?

I'm pretty sure I can still construct an intelligent response. Are you capable of comprehending one, or will I be wasting my efforts on writing another response to you that you won't understand?

In general, I still get a kick out of how people resort to name-calling or start slinging out insults just because others don't share there perspective on certain topics.

I don't regard all opinions as equally valid when they regard things significantly more important than a toy.

If you would like to refute anything I've said and not simply make insinuations that my motives are suspect, based on nothing more than your own imaginary (which I have to assume, since you back up nothing you say) presumptions, I'll be more than happy to give you the credit of having made the effort to think this out for yourself.

If not, don't expect me to participate in the illusion that what you're doing resembles reason, debate, or any other mental activity which can legitimately be classified as thought.

This is all worthless now. You've already lowered yourself to childish insulting. Blah-blah-blah, that's all I see in your replies now. I don't find your replies well articulated or intelligent anymore. I'm hurt and let down, and am taking my "I <3 devilof76" shirt off and never wearing it again :monkey2

....and with that, I think this thread is done.

Lets go back to playing with ...I mean talking about our toys :monkey3
