:lol It's funny to think we might be more eager to get a clear look at the Stego than to actually get our hands on the Tupuxuara. I suppose it's understandable.

Stegosaurus has been my favorite dino since I was a child. What's everyone else's excuse? :lol

I think it's the build up..we've know about it so long..and all the teaser details we've been getting :

HUGE
def a centerpiece
mother and baby
Rearing pose

and the one image we have so far...we've been on it's trail awhile and there is a lot of anticipation built up in that. ;)

Doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy finally getting a Pterosaur though..but I hope they do another with in a flying pose.

That would be really cool. I wouldn't mind it having a metal rod sticking out of the bottom to hold it in midair. I'd like to see an aquatic dino, or whatever they technically are, like that as well.

:lol Well at least knowing about dinosaurs is cool. If you start spouting off information about Star Wars (which is my hobby turned obssession) you just look like a nerd.

I almost had a date for the Orlando Magic vs. the Utah Raptors. I was very much looking forward to being able to tell her why they are called the Utah Raptors and that they were actually the dinosaur in Jurassic Park and not Velociraptors as identified.

Around here if your not involved in sports or religion no one cares...;)

And it's not like we go over board...( it's NOT " dino porn " it's me studying the mating habits of prehistoric animals ! )... lol

That would have been a dino fan classic ! Of course then during the whole game you could explain how they are birds and not reptiles and how Raptors in general were prob all feathered covered...and don't forget the wrists ! They clapped not slapped.. ;D

I don't know if I could speak inteligently about all that stuff. She'd ask one question and I'd say, "Um...I'll get back to you on that." Then come home and ask all of you. :lol

Don't worry Agent. As much as I love Dinosaurs, i'm not the most knowledgeable on the subject. I learn more and more every day, thanks to guys like Dan and Blade. :hi5: I'm also very greatful for paleo artists, who use fossil finds to create fully fleshed out Dinosaurs. :hi5:

And I learned everything I know from Blade. :lecture

So I still haven't seen a 30 day notice on this Tupuxuara. Think it will still take flight before March?

lol Thanks Dan..now don't disappoint your teacher ! ;D

Me either..I just read the email update this morning and didn't see it. It's still listed as February though..so either that will change or it will appear without notice.. heh

I've noticed a bit of a trend where Sideshow comes in later on the Dinosauria pieces than they used to...so it could be March after all.

If it wasn't such a small piece, I might worry about the Tupuxuara pushing the Apatosaurus further ahead. I have a feeling one isn't dependent upon the other, anyway.

On a related note, I got David's Tupuxara yesterday. Never realized how massive this thing was - although it is his only Antediluvian pterosaur, to be fair.

Congrats on getting David's Tupuxuara.:hi5:

I hope to get all of his Antediluvian collection at some point. His Apatosaurus is one of my favorites, and at only 10 inches long.:lol

That is also one of my favorites, and it actually does look a great deal like Jorge's version for Sideshow. I've been cleaning them up a bit with utility knives - those photos were actually from someone else's collection.

I got all those, plus a semi-damaged Stego which I was able to mend fairly well. With Elmer's. :lol

Man you are so lucky. Those look awesome grouped together. As cool as these pieces are, I can't help but want to see some of them made into larger statues. :monkey5 I still need to get Angie's Shapeway pieces. :D
