Yes, Keith, on Mondays I try to hit up my local Finnish bath house and spend 1.5 hours sweating my pretty little a$$ off in an 180º hot box. :D

Okay, so I just finished watching Let The Right One In.

I really really liked it. I really did. But I honestly have to think about it a bit before posting a "review" in the appropriate thread. Def not your usual vamp flick...

Now go read the book (if you're interested of course). :D Soooooo much better than the film (and I liked the film, but the book was much more engrossing and had greater build-up then its onscreen version).

You're right, it's better than your usual Vampire flick. ;)

Can't wait to see it. Should I watch it with the dubbing or without? I remember reading something about that.

there was a subtitle "scandal" for this movie. the subtitles that were presented for the theatrical version were different from the dvd version, and apparently the theatrical version was better.

Magnolia have acknowledged this issue and have re-issued the dvds with the theatrical subtitles.

scandal or not though, subtitles are ALWAYS better than dubbed.

For those of you who have already seen the movie, here is the side by side comparison of the subtitles:

I have the movie at home, i just have to make the time to sit down and watch it!

on second thought, i think i'm going to wait until the new version comes out with the theatrical subtitles. from what i've been reading, there is a huge difference in the two versions, and i want to make sure that my first viewing of this film is in the right form.

I noticed this when I watched both versions (dubbed and subtitled). dubbed is word for word with the theatrical subtitles.
