Very nice review Scar. It's nice getting that extra info because I'll be able to point things out to people and explain the scarring and such when I get to show the piece off.

Mine just arrived and I love it. I agree with Scar that so far it is my favorite piece. Just looking at the Rex next to the Carno it seems obvious who would win in a battle. The scarring on the face is awesome, I wish it were slightly more noticeable though. To me aside from the chunk missing from the jaw it is a little difficult to notice. However the subtlety is probably more realistic and I prefer realism over sensationalism so I'm pleased with it.

I think I may be getting UPS telepathy. I was cleaning and thought I heard the doorbell so I dashed to the door just in time for the UPS truck to pull up to the house. :lol

What an enjoyable read, Scar! I had recently canceled mine, for financial reasons, then got in the WL, and it converted immediately when they started to ship. The finances are worked out now. Heh, it was just meant to be.

One thing about this T-Rex, is how it opened my mind to a specific window in time in more visceral detail, than what I was used to. I have a better appreciation now for the magnitude of time that has passed since their extinction. I like to think of it as if we inherited their planet, and not just go like "oh they died out long ago". The least I could do, is to respect the harshness of those times, and feel thankful that everything gave way for us to have it so easy.

Firstoff, I want to think Scar for his usual lengthy review.:D I love reading a review that teaches me something new.:D

Anyway, my T-rex exclusive arrived today, and I absolutely love it. Everything about this piece just blows my mind, especially the stance.
This is definately my favorite Dinosauria piece in the line, so far.

Here are some outdoor pics of lucky number thirteen.:banana

Beautiful shots, Jeremy. Some of those could definitely be strong contenders in the DTF diorama competitions.

Thanks, Jeremy! I PMed the diorama info to you.

Personally, I would be too terrified to photograph this piece outdoors. Recently, it's been a sporadic hailstorm of acorns around here. Feel like I should wear a helmet every time I leave the house.

I know what you mean. I was very hesitant to take my rex outside. Nothing bad happened :lightninand i'm pleased with the results. I find that when you don't have a very nice lighting setup, using natural light is the next best thing.:D

The two best pictures of a Dinosauria piece. Period.

Thanks Scar. That means alot coming from you.:D The bottom pic is my favorite. I just love the way this statue looks from behind.
I think it has something to do with the position of the tail.

I might just end up putting him in a curio cabinet, facing backwards.:lol

Dang these pics are awesome. I'm tempted, soooo tempted. This piece is growing on me the more I look at it.

Buy it. Buy it now. You won't regret it. In my opinion, it's the best Dinosauria piece to date.

Anytime. You have a great eye for positioning and lighting. I too prefer natural lighting. :D

The tail is an awesome facet of the statue. I love the grace and curvature. Very beautiful, and still magnificently imposing.
