IMO Rua didnt look anything special vs Chuck. Chuck got dropped by a weak shot, Rua didnt dominate him like Jardine did to Chuck.

That's what i was saying. Rua hasn't looked the same, therefore i call him UFC Rua. I'm not saying he will ever look the same, be better, or get the title. All i'm saying that when he fought Forrest, Coleman, and Chuck it was a bad performance.

Even though Jardine beat Chuck by Split decision, Chuck still looked like he could make a run for the title. He had Just lost is belt and had not been KO by Rashad Evans. Who knows how bad the KO affected him? When Chuck fought Rua they both looked bad, but in defense for Rua it might have been because Chuck looked bad that Rua looked bad, if that makes any sense.

Jardine won a decision and almost got KO'd in the 1st. Shogun KO'd Chuck in the 1st Round. Big Difference. Rua looked awesome against Chuck. He'll beat Machida.

Exactly! Shogun did not go very far in the fight, therefore how do you know if he is "back"? Like I said, he finished Chuck with a weak shot even Dana White was surprised that Chuck got dropped by that punch, which further solidified the belief that Chuck is done.

I see what youre saying. There is definitely a big difference in performance between Shogun in Pride and in UFC.

*cough*roids*cough*

I did read your whole comment, it sounds like more excuses for Rua. Shogun will never be like he was in PRIDE because of drug testing. Sad but true.

Did he test positive for Pride 32 and 33?

I don't think Rua is over rated. He's like 5th or 6th, deservedly so. If they had him at 1 or 2 then I would call him over rated. The only reason he is getting a title shot is because he's pretty much the last big name available.

They could have put Cane in there against Machida, but imo not enough people know who he is.

:lol There's no drug testing in Japan. So of course it's just accusations. I guess it's purely coincidental that Ricardo Arona has avoided EVER fighting in the U.S. and purely coincidental that Rua, Wanderlei Silva and Filho have all lost considerable body mass/muscle since fighting in the U.S. where they're routinely subjected to mandatory/random drug tests right?

Arona wants to figth in the UFC but Dana White trashed him so who knows.

Did Brock Lesner take Steroids or Randy Couture???? U know that answer.

I think there's no question that Randy is on HGH. At least to me there's no question. Brock has always been BIG. Unlike a lot of dudes that swell up. You can find pics of him back in his Collegiate wrestling days and see dude was massive. Did he take Roids in WWE? Possibly. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did. Most Pro Wrestlers do, have done steroids.

The most obvious roid user who has been busted has got to be Leben.

Look at him before and during his roids and you can see such a huge change in his physical appearance. even his face looks roided.

He was good card material. being a brawler you know you'll see action in his fights.

Yeah his KO over Terry Martin was really cool. They both took a beating, then Terry wobbled him and got cocky and then got KO. His fight with Bisping then his steroid use really set him back.

So.. it looks like the winner of Bisping vs. Henderson at UFC 100 will be getting the next title shot against Anderson Silva. Honestly.. I think it'll be Henderson again. I'm still not 100% sold on Bisping yet.

Kimbo in the UFC:

*NOTE: I recolored his shorts because supposedly this pic is a spoiler for what team Kimbo will be fighting on since TUF 10 has already begun filming and the team colors for Rashad and Quintons teams have been set. And both guys have done interviews WEARING their team jerseys (which shows the colors of their teams). So just in case.

Kimbo's Rumored Team:
Supposedly Kimbo is on Rashad's team. His shorts in the original pic are Gold and Green. And in the interviews I spoke about, Rashad has a Black jersey with Gold and Rampage has a Black jersey with Silver.

Never thought I'd see Kimbo in the UFC. Kinda weird. :lol

Dana White is a jackass for talking all this ^^^^ about Kimbo and how Kimbo will never fight in the UFC unless he beats someone worthy. Then Kimbo appears in TUF.:monkey4:monkey4:monkey4

I think Dana White is a jackass anyways. :lol

Dana said he would never have Kimbo fighting in the UFC unless he earned it. I think by going on TUF, actually fighting random guys i.e. NOT guys hand picked by Gary Shaw and not bribed to keep it standing, that Kimbo will earn that right. How he does on TUF 10, and what kind of future he'll have in the UFC beyond the show is up in the air. He's the first fighter to ever be on that show who already has drawing power. He has a fan base. He has that "wow/freakshow" factor that puts asses into seats and gets PPV's bought.

I know I have a different opinion of him for joining TUF 10 because I thought Kimbo was a joke in EliteXC and I could see dude was being fed washed up has-beens and cans. It was a farce. And I called the Seth fight outcome as soon as it was announced that Kimbo's opponent had changed. Because that was (imo) Kimbo's first real fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kimbo loses on TUF 10. And I wouldn't be surprised if when he fights on the Finale (with the other losers) if he lost again. And if he went like 1 or 2 and 2 in the UFC before being cut. It could happen. But he could also beat everyone on the show, win the finale and go on a nice winning streak in the UFC. Not as likely.. but possible. It all depends on how much he's learned and how much he's grown since that loss to Seth P.

If he's exactly the same fighter, meh I don't think he'll do much in the UFC.

jackass or not, Dana's not dumb. Kimbo will pull in good numbers for TUF. .... its a business decision ... :monkey1
