Its as if Ortiz forgot there was a third round, he didnt even fight, or attempt to.
 
of course the judges suck....with things so obscure as 'octagon control' or who is the more dominant fighter. but what if the fighter is a major counter-fighter like machida?

Does inflicting the most damage win the decision? But what if the inflicting the most damage was from a couple of big shots when the other fighter hit their opponent with 80 smaller shots?

Not to mention, judges that dont know crap about MMA or martial arts in general are the ones scoring these fights.

Marquardt vs Sonnen is rumored for 109. I'm guessing for number one contender. Sonnen's stock jumped because of his win over Okami. They could just give Marquardt another shot now that Hendo is in limbo.

As for the fight, Marquardt wins easily imo.

Agreed. I would've preferred seeing Marquardt vs. Vitor for the #1 contender slot personally. I think that would be an explosive fight.
 
Looks like Gonzaga is out of 108. Wanna guess why? Just like Big Nog: F'n Staph infection. Sweet lord. Hopefully they match up Junior Dos Santos with Cain to replace that fight.

Also, looks like Cro Cop will be fighting Ben Rothwell at UFC 110. If Cro Cop can't beat Rothwell he seriously needs to consider retirement.

I agree fedor is not the best fighter in the world but that clip was stupid,don`t forget he knocked out Arlovski and Sylvia(That was the ufc champ for a long time).

As of right now,GSP and Silva is the best pfp fighters in the world.

I agree that the video was pretty funny, but lame at the same time. I'm not one of the nut huggers yet I do think he's a great fighter. I wish he could sign a one fight contract so he can go against Lesner and hand him his arse.

to be fair, both arlovski and sylvia were past their glory days when they fought fedor so I dont think those wins says too much. That's like Pacquiao fighting Dela Hoya.

Other than those 2 has beens, which big name has he faced recently?

That is true,besides...Arlovski messed up rushing in and got caught so he didn`t exactly give Fedor the best fight.

Was fedor really offered a UFC contract like the clip say or is this just made up by the haters to make Fedor look like a Whimp?
 
Well it really dosen't matter anymore, Lesner may never fight again, and all the other UFC HW's are hurt, so even if Fedor went to the UFC the Lesner fight would not have happened. So it would of been Fedor vs. Couture, and then all bums after that. Fedor is screwed either way, since all the HW's suck anyway. I rather see Anderson Silva move to HW to fight Fedor, that would be awesome. But the UFC's HW's are nothing to brag about, they always had a sucky HW division and they still do.

However, Dana White said at 106 he still wants Fedor. Fedor will be in the UFC. I would say in about a year. But the UFC has to get its HW division in check. But with Lesners career in jeopardy it will be the same story.
