Lets be honest, the only reason White and anyone else related with the UFC wants to see Shogun as champ is cause Machida will NEVER fight Anderson Silva and they wanna see Silva fight for the LHW belt.

Yeah theres a crazy dynamic with both silvas and shogun along with Ninja. I mean All were team mates at one time, Anderson and Wanderlei had a falling out after the PRIDE days and now Wandy says he wants to "mend" there friendship... While Shogun, not sure if he really cares.

Machida v Silva would probably be a bad fight anyway. Both like to counter and not commit. Both are know to be alittle lackluster when their opponents dont commit. Silva v Belfort is a better fight, that could be a good one.
