There are plenty of LHW that have a chance to beat Silva and Silva would get smashed by Brock or Carwin imo. He has a chance to fight a guy like GSP or the top LHW's, thats more impressive than going to HW and beating a lot of their old, slow fighters.

I had it the same way bro. I might have even gave the 4th to Edgar. The 5th Edgar clearly won. Penn won 1 2 3 at the very least. One judge scored it 50-45 for Edgar....What a crock of BS.
Btw, what was up with Penn? Didnt look like himself, and didnt have any bounce in his step. Pre fight injury or what?

Kind of. The only fights it felt like the crowd had vested interest in was the Renzo and Silva fight.

That PPV sucked! Very lackluster IMO. If I never see Silva fight agian i'd be ok with that and WTF was with BJ's knee...i've seen people in wheel chairs move better. For the record I had BJ winning rounds 1,2,3 the fourth 9-9 and Edgar took the 5th.

Im still kind of in shock that he got robbed. of course the BJ haters are going to hate and make stupid jokes but any level headed person can see that Edgar did NOT win the fight with those types of scores that the judges gave him.
also kind of suspicious with all the talks of Penn moving up to 170 for good and him vacating the LW belt etc. one thing is sure, Vegas economy is doing just fine right about now.

I wouldnt be suprised if Dana gives Penn an immediate rematch for that one, I was extremely suprised to hear he lost, but I knew that one would go the distance. As for the Silva fight, I knew it would be exactly like the Thales fight, a boring one with a similar outcome. Give him Bones, I guarantee it wont be such a boring fight, but when fidor comes back, I suppose that should be a good one as well. Silva just seems way too cocky, but Dana keeps giving him guys with weak or descent stand up

What's absolutely nuts is that if Silva finished Maia in the 3rd round after he straight out punked him in the 1st and 2nd rounds, he would have looked like superman. But for him to F around the last few rounds totally just ruined it all for him. what a shame to the sport and has no respect for anyone there.
