The reason Rampage didn't "go in for the kill" when he had Rashad hurt is because he was gassed. That's why he said he put all his eggs in his basket. He went all out with the GnP and after that he had nothing left.

thats just unacceptable for someone claiming to be in the best condition of their lives. He went 5 rds fine with Henderson and Griffin without gassing, and he struggled to get through 2 tonight.

tonight was also the first time i got to see lil nog fight, after all the praise i here everyone around here give him, i was not very impressed with him at all. i think Bones could roll him.............

I figured Rampage would have had great cardio but it was the complete opposite. 1 year ago he could go 5 rds now he cant even go 2 rounds. :slap

lil nog is actually a good fighter is just Brilz was stronger and looks like he is a good wrestler. I kept thinking Brilz was a HW cause he looked huge. That and nog got rocked.

Even so, Brilz had very sloppy stand up and predictable shots, I thought Nog would at least sub him, but he almost got subbed himself, and Brilz took the fight on late notice. Hopefully Bones takes out his next opponent so I can see it happen. I wander where Ramp goes from here on though, Machida would be a bad match up for him. :dunno

...Yeah I think like Rogan said, I think Quinton going into training so heavy and such a long lay off, just put to much strain on him which affected his cardio regardless of him saying he was in the best shape of his life. I knew it was going to come down to Rashad wrestling him and nulifying Quintons strikes.

Overall there really werent any fights that really blew me away. A decent UFC, but nothing that really stood out.

Ramp has nobody to blame but himself for the long lay off. People say all this about ring rust, but I'm not a bliever in ring rust when you have a great camp. I think Rashad has a lot more talent in his camp then Ramp, so those guys are always able to push him to his limits, but in that coutdown stuff, i didnt see anyone on the same level as Ramp pushing him to his limits. When you are sparring against guys like GSP, Marquerdt, Bones, Carwin, etc, so you will prolly come out the better prepared fighter.

Yeah I agree, Im not taking away anything from Rashad, I really like him, but I really like Quinton also so for me it was a toss up as to who I wanted to win.

I mean Quintons said it a million times, he hates training so for him saying hes trained his hardest ever, probably isnt as comparable as someone else saying they trained the hardest ever. I also agree that Rashad comes from a good camp. Not to take away anything from the Wolf's Lair, but I to dont think that camp is on the same level of camp as who Rashad trains with.

I agree, his shots were very predictable. Nog underestimated him and almost paid for it.

Maybe he should fight Thiago Silva or if they just want to throw him a win, give him Bonnar. lol

Machida would be too much for him. And Bader would out wrestle him.

This is totally true, I think he thought he was going get an easy W.

you think Bader would take Ramp? That might be a good fight for Bader to step up to. I was dissapointed in Ramps clinch game, I thought he was gonna win that match up, but Ramp didnt do anything with it, and he had Rashad by one leg with a chance to slam his ass, and didnt do it. He just looked really unprepared and went in with only the goal to use his hands instead of an all around game.

Amir lost. Take your Burger King promo commercial stuff and shove it. lol I thought he had some ground game. wonder what happened to it.

.... yes. As it stands, the current Rampage is about 75% of what he used to be.

How is Bader's cardio? i dont really remember.

Yeah I think Amir is overrated, he reminds me of Forrest. Dana likes him because he won TUF and hes "funny" and marketable to the fans. I will give him that his standup has really improved, but as Rogan said also, all the muay thai in the world isnt going to help you if you have no take down defense.
He should have known Kim Dong Hyun was going to take it to the mat real quick.

I dont think we have seen Bader go 3 rounds yet, I think we will see Ramp get back into action rather quickly, but he needs to work on more than just boxing, this game is evolving with quick, athletic guys. He hasnt evolved, in fact, he has taken a step back compared to his pride days. If he is gonna come in at 250, might as well take a shot at the HW's.

Very true, he should have been more prepared. You didnt see Kim on his feet for very long because he knew that was his weak point.

Lets hope so. He has to understand that the brawler MMA fighters are going extinct. Guys just arent going to stand there and exchange punches with you. Same happened with Tito vs Machida. He was upset because Lyoto kept moving around. lol

Not sure at how he would do as a HW.

Duffee vs. Russow

The little meaningless punch at the end is what cracks me up.

"Unnn.. take that you big baddie!" :lol

Other than Brilz getting robbed, I loved last night's event. I'm glad I got Brilz autograph at 103, he's a nice guy. I thought he got robbed that night too. I think a perfect way to correct that is to immediately have them rematch. This time let them prepare for each other the full camp.

In the back of my head I knew Rashad by decision was the most likely scenario. Still went with Rampage by KO. I was screaming for him to finish with that one flurry. Too bad.

The Duffee fight was sad. Imo Duffee looked like he was doing a test run or something.:dunno I don't see why he didn't go all out in round one when he had gas in the tank. Russow can now get his turn on the hype waggon.:lol

Bisping did exactly as predicted, I laughed at Sanchez getting worked, Diabate had a solid debut, there was a lot more action that I can't recall.

Amir fought and got owned on the ground, Guillard had a TKO (good knee to the body) and Efrain beat up on Lauzon for 15 mins. Watch the Post Press Conference at UFC.com.
