McMahon and the WWE should just make wrestling real now that Batista confirmed he signed with StrikeForce

is it really confirmed, i heard it was rumors.

He says he has. Strikeforce is denying it. It's probably true, just the paperwork isn't 100% done so SF doesn't want to announce something prematurely.

I don't expect much out of him TBH. He doesn't have a legitimate background/base that will help him in MMA although he says he's trained in kick boxing etc in the past.

Let's put it like this: He was a club bouncer and body builder before going into Pro Wrestling. And this is the same guy who got his ass whupped (for real) by Booker T when they got into a fist fight.

:lol

same here...i watched it on Sunday and im watching it again now. Really good fights, totally worth the re-watch.

Batista is 44 and the last time i saw him he got tired after just dancing around in the ring for 2 minutes,he is big and slow, and have to start from scratch if he ever decides to go to MMA.

Brock and Bobby Lashley are the only 2 i can think of that went from WWE to MMA,was rumours about Kurt Angle too but nothing happened there obviously.

I haven't watched a MMA fight with Bobby Lashley yet,all i know is that he showed great wrestling strength in wwe just like Brock did and he is undefeated over at strikeforce 5-0.

Lashley isnt that great, I seen a few of his fights and wasnt impressed. Even when he fought Wes simms, he looked like he had trouble with an out of shape simms so I really want impressed. He has potential, but still needs alot of training.

Nathan Jones: MMA (0-1)

Sean O'Haire: MMA (4-2) | K-1 (0-3)

Not from the WWE but a lot of people forget that Kazushi Sakuraba was a Pro Wrester before fighting in MMA as well.

The reason why Saku, Lesnar, Lashley, etc. have successfully transitioned into MMA is because all of those guys had a legitimate background/base to start with: Collegiate Wrestling.

Kurt Angle didn't want to fight.

Dana White:
"I've talked to Kurt, and you know, Kurt's full of sh--. Kurt doesn't really want to fight. He had the opportunity. We talked, and then he went with TNA. Not to mention he's pretty busted up from wrestling. And you don't just go from the WWE and jump into the UFC.

I offered him a deal where he could sit out for a year and train with (Randy) Couture and guys like that and get into it, and he turned it down."

^^^You know, I've gone from disliking Dana White to really loving the guy. I think the main reason is because he's been working hard on the UFC, and he doesn't pull any punches with anyone. He tells them how it is, and if they don't like it---screw them.

Yeah, there are alot of people who dont like him but the guy tells it like it is. Gotta respect that. Plus him and the UFC have done so much for MMA.
