if Hughes could submit GSP with an armbar............thats JJ buddy, plain and simple. Hughes doesnt know half the shiat he says anyways, you cant take much from what he says. You dont need a belt to officially know JJ.

Well I just went on what he said.

Nah, he has those at home with Sable.:monkey1

A group of ******* is better then a pair. Sable can wait at home for him later.

Well he's right. Because he hasn't specifically trained in BJJ to earn a rank. That's what I'm saying. But he was trained by Pat Miletich who's a BJJ practitioner and BJJ Black Belt. You don't think think Pat trained him in submissions and sub-defense? And again, even with that training Hughes would be correct in saying he hasn't specifically trained BJJ and doesn't hold a rank in BJJ.

Well I just went on what he said. :gah:

I had 20 people at my place playing poker and the game stopped for the duration of the fight. Only 3 of the 20 had Lesnar winning. And we were definitley louder than the other 17 after the fight, lol.

We've had several UFC/poker tourneys, but tonight was the first time a belt was on the line. The winner of the tourney earned $200 and a Wal Mart UFC HW title belt. Now he has to come back next time to defend the belt.:lol

Really good night of fights. Every fight satisfied me.

Not liking the main event is crazy but everyone has their opinion. I wasn't expecting the fight to last long at all so their gas tanks didn't bother me.

Carwin seems like a GSP type of fighter and will come back even stronger after this loss.

I just looked online and a ____ load of people agree with Lesnar getting submission of the night?? I understand why they gave it to him but Chris Lytle definetly showed what a submission of the night is SUPPOSED to look like.

1. Leben wants to fight Silva so I guess make it happen.
2. Lytle should fight John Hathaway to give Hathaway a really solid test.
3. Carwin could maybe fight the loser of Junior Dos Santos and big country.
4. Akiyama should fight Patrick Cote.
5. Bonnar should uhh.........?
6. Sotiropoulos is in a tough situation, he really needs to fight some top 10 competition, he should wait and see how UFC 118 turns out and fight one of the losers of Florian vs Maynard or Edgar vs Penn.

Bonnar got the nod because he actually won the fight. Brock stole Chris' bonus. he needed it. Dude has 4 kids.

Thats pretty sweet.

He just needs to work on his cardio. He's a killer for the first minute or so but once he starts throwing if he doesn't murder his opponent he's done. He just needs to work on that gas tank and he'll be straight.

I think it was because it was the Main Event and it was also completely unexpected. :lol

Sucks though. Compare their base+win pay and you'll see why.

The reason why Brock got it was cause nobody expected it. I still gotta give props to Rampage jr., that was awesome!

Well I wanted Carwin to win and he was kicking that ass, but as noted by everyone...his cardio failed him. I do think this fight exposed a few weaknesses in Brock. All though I will give it to Brock and say I was impressed that he stayed so calm and then of all the things gets the arm triangle. So lets hope Cain does his homework and if anything at least brings a good fight. Thats all I ask of Cain.

So Carwin was hyperventilating backstage and was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. So he was AWOL for the post-fight presser.

Bad couple weeks for Fedor fans.

First he gets choked out in 69 seconds of the first round by #9 ranked Werdum.

Then he loses his consensus #1 HW rank.

Then he loses his #3 P4P spot (with most sites taking him completely out of the P4P ranks).

Then Brock Lesnar wins. By Submission.

:lol:lol:lol

Where do you think Brock goes on P4P list now? I have

1.Silva
2.GSP
3.Gotta put Brock here now imo
4/5. Shogun or Aldo?
