Yeah, GSP definitely does not live up to the nickname "Rush" anymore. He's not very exciting to watch as of recent either. When was the last time he finished a fight? Was it the second time against Serra?

I remember I read an interesting fact about all the opponents GSP decisioned as of late. It showed that ALL those guys have very low finish rates when it comes to losses in their careers going into their fights with GSP.

For example:

Koscheck II
Only stopped 2x in 19 fights.
Last loss by stoppage: Almost 2 years before fighting GSP again.

Alves
Only stopped 4x in 22 fights.
Last loss by stoppage: 3 years before fighting GSP.

Hardy
Only stopped 3x in 26 fights before fighting GSP.
Last loss by stoppage: 5 years before fighting GSP.

So it's not like any of those guys were easy to finish in general going into their fights with Georges. But with all that said I still think GSP has been playing it safe since Serra whooped that ass.

Yeah i like GSP, but hes not very exciting to me. Dont get me wrong, jabbing the hell out of josh for 5 rounds was cool and definetly dominant, but I would have settled for a 2nd round TKO or sub over his decisions as of late.

I was thinking it was gonna be a merger or something to eliminate SF. I see how this benefits the UFC $$$ wise, but I don't see how it benefits the fans. Dana can't bring over anyone unless their contract is expired, so we won't be seeing their top fighters vs the UFC top fighters, kind of lame imo. I would have thought maybe SF would be turned into like a minor league system for the UFC, but it's "business as usual"
