yeah thats crazy, i just found that out today that it ws the same time. Thats some freaky shizat!!!

Yeah i heard about these Fedor rumors...I mean true or not if they still want to bank on Fedor, he basically doesnt have anywhere else to go really. Like I said before I just dont see Fedor dropping down, hes Russian, they dont understand diet and nutrition from what I hear.

Yeah like i said from what I heard there diets are terrible and they just eat whatever not worrying about weight or issues of making weight.

When I heard that interview with Vinnie M. he was saying he trained in Russia for some seminars and he said after a workout he would get a protien shake and he said the ***** guys would be eating sweet muffins and drinking soda and eating just regular dessert type food and then later would go out and eat regular lunches and dinners and on top of that alot of them smoked. So he kept laughing how alot of these guys would do better if they just dropped down, but they dont.

If he does drop, first fight is going to be ROUGH since it would be Fedor's first and only time (that I know of) cutting so there's no telling how his body will react to it. And it also doesn't help that his first fight @205 would be against Hendo who's a wrestler because grappling is a surefire why to tire out someone. Look at Kimbo's first (and only) weight cut, dude was exhausted and said flat out the cut was hard. And he didn't even drop the full amount of weight needed to make 205 so it was a catchweight bout at 215. And he went right back to HW after that. So it's not something that's easy.

Should be interesting, especially considering Fedor has openly admitted that the reason he always preferred to fight at HW is because he likes fighting bigger/slower HW's as opposed to smaller/faster HW's which even Fedor said have given him problems i.e. Arona, Babalu, Cro Cop, Big Nog, Coleman, Randleman, etc.

At HW, since Fedor was smaller it was an advantage because he was faster and more agile than the big, clumsy and slow HW's of the past. Now, HW's are completely different. Now not only are they F'n huge but they're also athletic and fast.

But that's also going to be a problem if Fedor drops: LHW's will be just as fast and just as agile/explosive (if not more so) than Fedor. Luckily Strikeforce's LHW division sucks so Fedor could make a title run if he gets past Hendo. But in the UFC? I doubt Fedor would even be a gatekeeper in their LHW division. :lol

I definitely agree, but still would like to see him in the UFC. It's probably the only way for reality to crush the delusions of grandeur that the Fedor Fanatics still have. That, and I'm not a fan of the way Strikeforce does things :slap

I love Fedor, but hes not ready for the UFC. Hes fine at Strikeforce take a few more fights and just retire regardless of wins or losses. If he were to go to UFC, sure it would be cool to see some of those match ups against bigger names, but I mean damn look at the problems hes had with SF's roster of guys.
