Joe is moving to FW to fight Vasquez. Probably the only thing keeping him around. But if he loses that fight I wouldn't be surprised if he got cut. Overdue as you said.

As far as AJ, I honestly have no idea how that dude makes WW. It's crazy to see him standing next to LHW's and HW's. Dude is ginormous.

hmmmm FW huh, I guess since it's argueably the weakest division in the UFC, I guess his chances are much better at sticking around in the UFC. I'm more curious to see how Florian does in that division.

I swore AJ said or someone said he was defn moving up to a different division after the Hardy fight. He cuts like ~30 some odd lbs to make weight. I think hes also better served to move up to MW cause its not as deep of a division, so his chances of making the top 5 are much higher, especially with Nate out of the picture now. If Nate and GSP ever meet for the title, it will be the Jones/Rashad situation with training all over again.

Yeah it's weird: Florian, Tyson Griffin and Stevenson ALL decided to move down to FW after recent losses at LW. Just seems like a hopeless move with Aldo as the champ. Don't see anyone beating that dude out of the bunch.

I heard that King Mo was in Holland working on his striking and he happened to mention Jose Aldo was there as well working on his striking as if it wasnt bad ass enough. Yeah I dont see those guys beating Jose, hes a beast. Easily one of my favorite fighters.

And as sick as his striking is, his JJ is supposed to be even scarier. Which is why most people don't even attempt to grapple with him. Doesn't leave a lot of options for his opponents.

This will help with that terror.

Aldo laughs like a Japanese school girl. :lol:lol:lol

It will be interesting to see if Shogun can pick himself back up after the loss and avenge the loss from Forrest. Im still a huge Shogun fan regardles of his loss. Hoping he kicks Forrests ass.

I think he will. But who knows. Forrest outworked Shogun the first fight and I could see him doing the same thing again. Should be interesting.

Shogun is kind of starting to look more like Rampage these days with his conditioning consistancy, I'm curious to see if he will at least be in better shape then when they first fought; not to mention, he didn't look so great 3 rds into the Jones fight either.

tell me about it...Shogun looked like crap. He gassed in rnd 1 and really brought nothing to the table against Jones. I hope he picks himself up and comes back better, but I think Forrest will have the size advantage so we'll see what happens, but as Devil said it wouldnt surprise me if Shogun got beat again. Im just hoping he comes back better.

I will be surprised as hell if Forrest takes Shogun again. Shogun didn't have an answer for Jones just as anyone else who's ever faced the new champ. Would Forrest have a chance in anyone's mind before the Jones fight? I think Griffin is going to get hammered.

Well to be fair Shogun looked great vs. Machida twice and against Liddell. And on the flip side Forrest hasn't looked good SINCE the win over Rua. Wasn't really impressed with the Rampage fight (I thought he lost personally).

Both guys are 3-2 since their first fight, but the difference is Forrest has 3 decision wins (1 split) and 2 KO/TKO losses while Shogun has 3 KO/TKO wins, 1 decision loss (that was controversial) and 1 TKO loss to Jon Jones. So legitimately 1 loss for Rua, and 2 brutal losses for Forrest. So even with the loss to Jones AND a previous loss to Forrest IMO Rua should be the favorite for the rematch based on their respective performances following the first fight.

Anderson Silva Says He Would Never Fight Jon Jones

Anderson Silva appears to be more interested in the "Winable" superfight against Georges St. Pierre than facing Jon Jones at Light Heavyweight according to an interview with Esportes.r7.com: (translated by BE's own Tom Mendes)

On fighting Jones:

"No chance, he’s in a different weight class, we are friends and we won’t fight each other."

On fighting GSP:

"There is a chance there, everything will depend on our results. It depends on him winning at UFC 129 and me winning in August (against Yushin Okami). And from there, who knows, this fight could take place."

Anderson Silva Says He Would Never Fight Jon Jones

Can't blame him, Jones pocesses a lot of Anderson's strengths and is even longer and just as quick as he is. The biggest thing is, his wrestling is on a elite level as well, and his GnP is vicious. Jones is the worst match up for him. I still think with GSP's wrestling, he can take out Silva. He's no slouch in stand up either, he's just not as quick as Silva, but he mixes things up well. I do think more ppl would rather see him fight Jones though..........so Jones can become #1 p4p in the world :yess:

GSP is too small, Anderson will KO him. As far as Shogun. He needs to get in shape. Those knee surgeries I think are to blame for his bad shape. Shogun said he gassed in the 1st against Jones, after getting knee'd in the ribs. If Shogun is in shape against Forrest, it should be an easy KO win. Forrest is not that good of a fighter.

Yep agree, even if GSP gains weight hes not going to be able to match the size and strenght advantage of Silva. I see Anderson beating him.
