No idea why people are so hyped about Weidman. The two best fighters he's faced so far are Maia (UD snoozefest) and Munoz (KO). And neither of them were anywhere near a title shot. I think Silva murks him easily. I'd rather watch Rockhold (if he beats Belfort) or Lombard (if he beats Okami) fight Silva than Weidman TBH.

Silva fighting Cung Le would be a joke. :lol

Maia was short notice fill in fight, and Munoz was on the fast track before he got brutally KTFO! I think Weidman has earned the shot more then anyone else. The fact that Silva wants to pick favorable matchups for himself is annoying. GSP picked Diaz but at least that's some what entertaining. LE is not near a title shot.

Im not hyped at all about Wiedman, Ive been saying hes over rated. His win against Munoz was a fluke in my eyes. His striking is terrible and his gnp looks like that of Jake Sheilds he can get you on the ground, but cant actually hurt anyone.

I hope Silva does fight Weidman, just to shut all the Weidman fans up. Ducking Weidman, what a joke, Silva will knock his *** out in the first. Can't wait.

All cut. That's a big list. Probably the most people I've ever seen the UFC let go at one time. :lol

surprised to see Fitch get cut, even with that record. Wasn't Grispi at the top to get a shot at Aldo awhile ago? I guess that was before his 4 losses...

He was, at 125 until Aldo pulled out (injury). And then he did a Pettis and took a fight instead of waiting for Aldo. Which resulted in 4 losses in a row. :lol

It sounded like a cop out excuse when Dana said Zuffa bought Strike Force because they needed more fighters and more fights way back when, but now this confirms it! Did Fitch get too pricey (for Fitch :lol)?

Anyone watching Bellator. King Mo just got KTFO!!!
I really thought he was going to win the tourney. He pulled a Reem. He just got over confident and kept dropping his hands and payed the price.

Holy jeebs! I just watched it on my dvr. King No Mo!

Sad part is, both those guys Mo fought were hand picked to advance him through to the finals. First guy had 0 fights in Bellator (16-7 overall record) and the dude that KO'ed Mo was 1-2 (19-7 overall). Not to mention the punch that got him looked like a baby tap. :lol

I agree with what you said with one exception. Almost every single spinning backfist I've seen that even comes close to landing (not landing fully flush), usually ends the fight or gets the other guy into serious trouble. It's MMA's un-noticed secret. That's why I think every kick (a round kick) should then be followed by a spinning back fist.
Hell, even Chael gave it a try against Anderson, because he knew he had no chance.
