That put that bias piece of **** on there? God damn.

I think those rakings are pretty spot on. Outside the top 5 of any category doesn't mean a whole lot.

He was at the time of the two losses. He was #1 at LW and Top 10 P4P.

Yeah key word WAS, I guess Edgar is gonna ride those wins over a aging Penn his whole career. Just saying Edgar isn't a P4P top fighter, heck guy has 3 losses in a row now.

rankings are pretty good, still don't agree with the pound 4 pound rankings tho. I dont think Anderson deserves to be no.1, the level of competition he's faced in the UFC isn't as high as GSP, Jones or Aldo (UFC + WEC) imo. About half of his title defences have been against people who i wouldn't call top level (no offense to them their still great). I think Anderson seems so great cause the 185 class isn't stacked with talent like 170,155,145 and 205 (not so much now'a'days)

The Rankings dont really even matter because Dana said there still going to match up fighters for fights that people want to see over who actually deserves the fight.

That's pretty _ucked up, guy bust his butt earns a title fight but is passed over. I wanna see great match ups just like everyone else but guys putting work in should get what they've earned.

well Pettis Vs Aldo is official for August. Not really about keeping active like Pettis said if he has to wait 7 months to fight anyway

What would it have been if he waited the lightweight winner? Aldo didn't take any damage, the LW winner might break something in a win, who knows?

No I mean when he was first ranked in P4P lists was when he originally defeated Penn twice. That's the first time I remember him being listed/mentioned. And at that time, Penn was #1 at LW and dominant. Obviously over time Edgar's rank will slip without significant wins until he's bumped off completely.

You do realize that Silva has more top 10/top 5 wins than GSP, Jones and Aldo right?

Actually he's "so great" because he has the most consecutive/successful title defenses in UFC/MMA history, Most finishes in the UFC/in title fights, the most consecutive wins in UFC history and more importantly unlike GSP, Jones and Aldo, Anderson Silva has actually fought in other weight classes with success. He's the only fighter in MMA history to ever be ranked Top 10 in 3 different weight classes.

#1 at MW (current)
#1 at WW (After defeating Sakurai who was #1 WW/#1 P4P at the time)
Top 10 LHW (After defeating #3 LHW/Former LHW Champ Griffin who was only 1 fight removed from losing the title)

His actual rank varied from list to list for LHW but he WAS ranked.

I think the 2nd/3rd spots for P4P are interchangeable between GSP and Jones depending on the argument but I can't see how anyone could dispute Silva being #1. :dunno

I think Pettis might be worried about Bendos strength and wrestling ability cause otherwise, he has a descent size advantage in the stand up against him. Pettis doesn't have any advantage in my eyes over Aldo, so he must think he has better stand up or something cause that's gonna be a kickboxing match unless Aldo decides to mix it up on the ground, which he should.

Silva isn't just the best mma fighter, but to me, he's the best fighter ever. Jones is the only guy who has the potential to match his greatness for awhile.

Fight Master is spike's new MMA reality show. The coaches are Couture, Shamrock, Warren, and surprisingly Greg Jackson hahaha The first show features welters. I'll be watching. They also have a tackey show with Randy that's the MMA equivalent of Bar Rescue. Won't be watching that one.

Personally I think the whole premise is hilarious: It's a tournament for.. a spot IN a tournament.

Yeah i'll watch it all and decide later. Personally if it was me Id be on Randys team or Franks. Ive seen Frank do seminars and hes a good trainer and gives really good information.

Anyone watching TUF. Jesus ****ing christ, that was an amazing KO. I think it was better than Edson Barbozas.

Hahahahaha too true. I wonder at what point will Bellator say **** it and drop the tournament stuff?

I dont think they will because thats what makes them different. Right now its the only thing they have to seperate themselves from other MMA orgs mainly UFC. Which is why there little motto is "where title shots are earned"

Thiago Tavares was the only fighter to test positive for UFC on FX 7: Bisping vs. Belfort. He's been suspended for 9 months.

But the interesting part of the announcement was the UFC confirmed that Belfort IS using TRT with a medical approval from the NSAC. So there you go.
