He did, but it was just a gesture of good faith i.e. it just means that he'll never fight for any other promotion. So even if this was his last fight, or if he has one or two more he'll retire and still be under contract with the UFC so if he ever came out of retirement he'd have to fight for them and honor the remaining fights on his contract. He's 38. No way he was ever gonna fight to 47-48 (I believe he signed a 10 yr contract).

Silva dodged 50 attempts to hit him but that one left hook got him. Not impressed by Wiseman. It was almost like Silva was wanting to lose. He played this game one to many times and someone with power and handhelds caught him.

I agree, felt like he wanted to lose this fight for whatever reason. Weidman didn't do anything spectacular, he basically knocked out a guy who stood right in front of him with his hands at his waist. Just very very odd. I'm very curious what Dana is gonna say about this.
