Hmmm....Dana was pretty pissed when Silva pulled that crap against Meia. Maybe he'll be equally pissed because of tonight's performance. Unlikely, because we all know how much $$ a rematch will make for the chance of Silva winning the belt back.

His first fight against Sonnen,it made sense that he had 2 broken ribs.But this one,well a injury would have nothing to do with how the fight ended.He looked great and i thought he had Weidman up until he got careless and got knocked out in a stupid way.

The truth is that the "he wanted to lose" excuse is bs. He wanted to lose so he got knocked out on purpose? I am a hardcore Silva fan and that is some baloney. What I saw was that after he got pounded on the ground in the 1st round, he was trying to taunt Weidman to keep the fight on the feet and demoralize him. He got carried away with it and made one mistake and he paid for it dearly.

After I saw Silva stuff a few takedowns I expected a great fight. Weidman won so he is the better fighter right now but I would have been more accepting of the outcome if it came from Silva trying his best like he did against Belfort and Sonnen instead of getting knocked out from a clownish mistake.

Totally agree. No excuses needed. He was walking with his hands at his waist. I just wish it happened in the first round. That would've been the icing on the cake for me.
