I agree that it is a fluke victory. Weidman's strength is not even his stand-up but his wrestling. But still feel so good to see Silva's arrogant @$$ KTFO!!!

It wasn't a fluke victory at all. Silva had the same game plan since the Damian fight. He flaunts around with his hands down to get opponents to engage so he can counterstrike. Give Weidman credit for doing his homework and beating Silva at his own game.

well, we can all agree to disagree on whether it was fluke or not. If there was a rematch immediately, I think most of us would still be picking Silva, so that shows Silva is still higher up on the P4P list than Weidman after this loss.

Yessir. And I definitely wouldn't think he got lucky with that punch either.

Thats asking too much for some around here. :lol

Never heard a KTFO fight called a fluke but hey whatever makes your feel better. :lol

That wasnt Weidmans gameplan. His gameplan was to take him down. I do give credit to his coach who told him to just punch a hole in his chest. No way Weidman is in the top 10 p4p best. Thats like saying Matt Sera was after beating GSP. I bet Weidman drops the belt to whomever gets the next shot.

I agree. Weidman did his homework and expected those clowning around. I even liked the part in the first round when Weidman did the same to Silva.

In calling it now, if Silva wins a rematch it will be by a fluke KO! :lol

I don't think you really understand the definition of fluke. It can't be a fluke if the better fighter beats someone that isn't better than himself. I think you just like to think there are tons of Silva fanboys here, but there aren't, we're just stating our opinions.

Fluke:1.Unlikely chance occurrence, esp. a surprising piece of luck

Im MMA no one wins by a fluke. Weidman had the speed and power and caught him on the chin. Silva dared him to hit him with his hands down and by God he did. Best thing Weidman can do is run out and buy some Fruitty Pebbles and do his best John Cena impersonation....The Champ is HERE! ....at least till the next title shot. Im looking more forward to the press conference to see what Dana says.
