Yes, did you add me?

I beat the game this morning. Loved every moment of it. Gonna play the single player campaign again once I wrap up Arkham City.

watching the credits roll by.

this was the best adventure game i have ever played.
WOW !! I am speechless.

this game is better then so many movies out there.

10/10 for me.
the desert part was one of the most amazing things i have seen in a video game.

spectacular.

going to play online all nite.

I finished Hard today, will start crushing tomorrow. Game was great. But I wont be satisfied with multiplayer until they give me back my elimination. I am saddened that they didn't put it in.

Finished Normal and now playing on Hard...I'm about 1/3 of the way through. Really love this game. :D

I'd say I'm enjoying the crap out of 80% of this game. The other 20% infuriates me to no end. I get that the developers have a very set story and pace they want you to follow, but if you try to do anything but what they intend, I hate the fact that you will inevitably die and have to try over and over again until you get it right. That infuriated me about the first two, and nothing's changed.

Later in the game, some of the gunfight setpieces are just flat-out stupid when it comes to the amount of enemies they throw at you. You finally make headway and go where you're supposed to only to be greeted by another small army that came out of nowhere and really had no place to hide in the small shipyard you're trying to get through. It's not as bad as in the first one, because enemies don't take 6 headshots to go down, but it's still an issue. The shooting mechanics are also garbage, as they were in the first two.

That being said, the rest of the game is almost perfect. I'm not a fan of scripted games at all, but this one actually makes you feel like you're a part of it rather than just along for the ride. Usually.

Overall, like I said I'm having a great time with most of the game, I just hope if there's another that they go and refine the shooting a bit, as well as maybe giving you more options than the set actions the developers want you to take.

Anybody else notice that Drake getting on the plane was exactly how captain america did in th 1st avenger?

Im on chapter 12 and i gotta say that they keep the franchise still fresh with exciting storytelling and variety in this one.

One thing i wish they would have improved on though is the random locations enemies pop up,kinda takes the realism away.Like in a burning building that collapses while you try to escape, shouldn't they run the hell out before the whole building collapses?

:goodpost:

I do agree with you on the small army, I mean, how many goons did this chick have?! Even I started thinking about this after a while. But its a typical movie cliche, how many goons did each James Bond villain have? Seemingly infinite.

Also, sometimes when I was "sneaking" around, a villain would seemingly spot me out of nowhere despite being behind some cover, wish that was a little better and advantageous towards the player. Also, with some of the stealth controls, I wish there was the option to look at the control scheme in the "Pause" menu as well, I had forgotten some of the moves! Thankfully the game manual has it, but I prefer to press "Pause" and check that stuff out.

I do think an "auto-aim" snap feature might also be beneficial for the shooting system, similar to Red Dead Redemption. The manual aiming does create a better sense of urgency in my opinion and is more realistic but it doesn't seem as "crisp" as it does in other games.

I'm also with you on the scripted stuff...to an extent. I know Uncharted is not a sandbox game or open-ended in any manner. This is a game with a story and is played as such with limited "open areas", I know that going in and I enjoy the overall cinematic feel of the game. The part of your gripe I share with you is in some areas where it seemed like you should be able to explore some more but can't. The main part I can think of is in the "Globe" room when you're in Syria. There's a treasure hanging over a pool that you have to shoot down, but unless you catch it (which I had to read online about) the treasure will sink to the bottom of the pool. When you try to "dive down", Nate will take a kick down and then automatically swim back up. You SHOULD at least be able to swim to the bottom of the pool. Not a biggie, but just a minor thing...

Despite some minor mechanics (which is a problem with ANY game due to developing, even ones I consider "perfect") the game is phenomenal. :clap

I just finished the game about 30 minutes ago, and despite some EXTREMELY bull____ shooting encounters in the last third, it was overall a great experience.

You mentioned the aiming, and that was one of my biggest gripes with the series. It seemed like every time I lined up a shot, I would end up shooting 2 inches to the left of my target because the aiming was very twitchy. I did notice that whenever I wouldn't focus entirely on aiming and just went with the action and moved quickly, I would do a lot better, so maybe focusing on aiming alone is what the problem is.

Overall though, like I said, it was a great experience and a hell of a ride. One reviewer (The Onion) said the gameplay mechanics were archaic at best, and I do agree with them about the shooting mechanics being something out of the PS2 era. Everything else, though, was top-notch. Beautiful as hell, too. The writing and acting elevated it above pretty much every other game out there, and I can't remember being as invested in game characters as I was with these.

As much as I dislike heavily scripted games, these do it right. Even though you're watching a movie, basically, you're still a part of it. Nothing like the Metal Gear series, which I absolutely loathe, because everything there is a 20-minute cutscene or codec conversation. These really nailed the interactive movie feel.

Just finished cleaning up the minor trophies... Now I start my "Crushing" run.
I told my wife to expect heavy swearing at some points. :lol

On Chapter 15 of Crushing....oh man, the Ship Graveyard and the Ballroom on the Ship are INSANE on this difficulty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to throw my game out the window :lol

My boyfriend and I finished it this weeked. Absolutely great game. My thoughts in more detail behind the cut :

Pro's :
- This game had some of the most impressive levels e.g the burning castle, the sinking cruise ship, etc. The details and animation was just mindblowing.

- Absolutely wonderful cast. I enjoyed the interactions between Drake, Sully, Elena, Chloe and Cutter. You really cared for them so it kept me going to find out what would happen next.

- Katherine Marlowe was an interesting villain tho I wouldn't have minded more info on her organization.

- Sully death scene was the biggest 'OMG WTF just happened?' moment in the game.

- I really liked what the secret behind Ubar was basically a drug in the water that turned everyone insane and destroyed the city. It's a lot more believable than steroid-driven purple-skinned madmen from Uncharted 2.

Con's :
- The controls weren't as fluid as in Uncharted 2. My boyfriend cursed a lot 'cause he would end up in hand-to-hand fights when all he really wanted to do was roll away.

- Too many shoot-out scenes and not enough puzzles. Especially after the ship graveyard, it annoyed me how many shoot-out areas with an insane amount of enemies there were. Some of them were ridiculously hard too.

- Ship graveyard. I hated those levels and it slowed down the story IMO.

- More Chloe and Cutter scenes. I really liked both characters and it's too bad that they both drop out halfway through the game.

- The defeat of Katherine Marlowe and Talbot was a bit of a letdown. Death by quicksand and a shot in the head? Boo! IMO Katherine deserved a cooler ending than that.

-Speaking of the ending, whilst I loved the Elena/Drake scenes, I felt a little disappointed by the ending. I just wanted the story to continue some more.

I think these pirates on crushing have stuck a ship's wheel on the front of my pants cause they're driving me nuts!
An aiming fix would definitely help but I don't really NEED it.

That was my favourite level with the sinking cruise ship .i love the pirates.

I loved the sinking cruise ship level. That level was just incredible. But I hated the ship graveyard before it.

I just finished it on Crushing and snagged my fifth platinum.
This game is awesome.
Now I head BACK to the multiplayer. :D

I'm almost finished playing Hard. Now that I know what to expect, I'm finding Hard to be no more difficult for me than Normal was...though I have a feeling Crushing will not be the same. :lol

I seem to die the most from falling. I really need to get a new controller, my left touch pad keeps sticking in the up position - so Drake runs forward when he shouldn't.
