Finally got around to watching the Night of the Demons remake. I'm not sure if it's because it was late at night and with many interruptions (from my kids), or I just jonesing for a decent horror movie, but I actually not only liked the remake but actually really liked Edward Furlong's character. :lol :monkey1

me and the gf were in a hotel room on vacation for our anniversary and she passed out drunk so I popped open the laptop and watched it via instant netflix and was so mad at how bad it was :lol I enjoyed the large amounts of hot chicks and boobs though.

The Human Centipede 2 is crap don't waste your time with it, the first was only an ok film.
The last decent Horror films i saw were The Last Circus,The Dead very Romero like zombie film. Fun little zombie road trip comedy called Deadheads and i highly recommend Rare Exports Its a christmas horror film (but its like family horror like Gremlins not to scary or gorey but there are deaths in it.) Its either Norweigan or Finish but a lot of the movie is in English.

...The Last Circus...is that a french film or am I thinking of something else. The Dead...this sounds interesting and I'll have to look for Rare Exports. Speaking of Christmas horror, anyone remember Silent Night Deadl Night :D

Finally saw Cannibal Holocaust. What an awful pos.

yep...total waste of time, nothing but overy hyped crap. To me the whole cannibal genre is over rated. Its just animal killing and rehashed footage from other films. Ive seen Cannibal Holocaust, Cannical Ferox, Slave to the cannibal god and a few more. One film even has old natgeo type footage spliced in. Horrible films.

It was disgusting and the most brutal part was sitting through it :lol

Now imagine all your friends and every horror magazine claiming Dr. Butcher is the holy grail of horror. Tearing through VHS selections at horror conventions every year. Calling and writing letter after letter to the video stores in back of magazines, only to get "no" in response. Riding public transportation for hours and scouring every video store, from the popular, to the dirty hole in the walls. Then, finally, after 5 years of searching, scoring a copy from a dude selling hillbilly porn and "snuff" films at the flea market, hurrying home to watch.... that. :monkey1 :lol

Holy cow, did you really do all that? Awesome effort! :D

I just ordered it up from Netflix. :lol

Its Spanish very good if you like clown horror,I always watch Silent Night Deadly Night at Christmas.I also like to watch Santa's Slay which is a fun film about a viking Santa played by Bill Goldberg it's got some inventive and chrismassy kills in it.You can see the film in parts on youtube if you want a laugh.
The original Black Christmas is also a good horror film starring Margot Kidder.

Its more of a horror comedy but if you want something christmassy and you have not seen it.You can watch it in parts on youtube its cheesy and fun.
Santa's Slay

Oh jeez dude. :lol I feel ya one the whole hardcore search. Been there a plenty.

It's a bit slow, but I really enjoyed THE NIGHT CHILD.

More unknown than underrated, here are some more obscure horrors I recommend:
EERIE MIDNIGHT HORROR SHOW (aka THE SEXORCIST)
ROJO SANGRE (Paul Naschy's final film)
DEVIL'S NIGHT ORGY
GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE
THE NIGHT EVELYN CAME OUT OF THE GRAVE (find the uncut version)
and my absolute favorite slice of Euro sleaze:
THE DEVIL'S NIGHTMARE

all of these can be found on budget dvd sets and can later be tracked down in versions with better PQ if you like what you see.

Watched this the other night not bad prefered it to Paranormal Activity.
