I liked Sucker Punch

I never saw Showgirls...let me borrow your Deluxe Collector's Limited Edition Blu-Ray copy and I'll let you know what I think.

I'm sure I'll like Underworld: Awakening...mainly because I'm not going into the theater expecting to see an Oscar winning movie or have a life altering movie experience.

I saw Underworld Awakening last night midnight show in IMAX 3D!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! EPIC!! Honestly! Im not a huge fan of the franchise to be honest, i enjoyed the first, thought the 2nd one was pretty badass and never saw Rise of the Lycans all the way through, But this one is awesome!!!

Its action packed!! Kate is amazingly hot as always, she kicks A$$ and takes names the whole time its a rush imo, i really enjoyed it!! I def recommend ya guys check it out,

Now time for my 1 nitpick spoilery question

Michael is in the movie, But Scott Speedman is not, so why didnt he come back? was it schedule issues or money? I just want to know?

If this is EPIC for you, LOTR Trilogy must be what......Orgasmic

No man, see you just don't get it man. It's deep on so many levels. There's layers and layers of thought provoking, mind bending, touch-your-soul depth to that series that people like you just can't grasp all the intricacies and finer points.

Saying the Underworld films are "Vampire chicks in tight leather with guns" is like categorizing and labeling the 2 Fast, 2 Furious films as "Homoerotic Car movies".

I gave the movie a shot, but I hatred it. In my opinion of course. Sure underworld has alot of action. but unlike the other three, this hardly had character development, the story was weak. Like someone said on here, it felt like a straight to dvd release or a high budgeted show.

Sounds just like the Conan reboot.

Yeah it is, I wouldn't even consider it a underworld film.

CGI is horrible in it.

Saw it this morning. It was decent. Not a fan of the Hulk Wolf though.

The Wolf Hulk was a little over the top, the CGI was decent but the little woman and I enjoyed & had fun watching the movie.

The fight scenes were cool, IMO.

My girl got dizzy when Selene was put into suspended animation.

The Hulk Wolf was just a little over the top for me but the fight scenes with him and Selene were cool!

Maybe a little but I think that's why I liked him. He was just crazy.

I have enjoyed all the Underworld films. Even so I was not really all that pumped for this one. The Mighty Joe Young sized werewolf in the trailers turned me off I think.

But I still went and found that I enjoyed it just as much as the others. Even the big wolf turned out fine. Guess I just can't get tired of the Vampire vs Werewolf action


Fans of the other films should enjoy this one also. If you don't like the others then this one won't win you over.



PS - I also loved Part 3 but see that it gets a lot of hate. Not sure why.

They really just need to bring Bill Nighy back. If he can survive getting a sword shoved down his mouth (pt 3) then he could survive getting his head sliced

One thing I have really disliked in this series is the lack of explanation on what exactly can kill a Vampire or Lycan. Yeah we get the sunlight and silver, but there are plenty of them that 'die' from other means like getting their heads ripped off or just bleeding to death. And if thats the case, I don't see why needing UV or silver ammo is such a big deal.

Technically Awakening is the 3rd installment and the Rise of the Lycans was a prequel or the first.
